We felt comfortable after talking with Albert the owner & wrote him a check for the full amount. We made an appointment for early January which was a no show. We made another appt., when Albert showed up he explained his truck had been broken into & the parts for our oven were stolen along with his phone, this was at the beginning of February. Albert also said Thermador would not send out a replacement part, so he did reimburse us 369$ for the stolen part. He did bring parts for the refrigerator, but had to reschedule to install said parts. In late February we made another appt. which was a no show (I am taking off work for each appt). We made another appt. for early March. Albert installed the part for the refrigerator & the freezer worked fine for about 3 weeks. Made another appt. for the first week in April, which was also a no show. Made another appt. for the next week. This time he recharged the freezer & said to call if it went out again. The freezer went out after about three weeks again. Made another appt., by this time it's March & my husband is very upset. I had him call Albert who said he would come out again & put a new sealant in the line. He never showed up for the last appt. made. I was told by Marie in the office he would not finish the repairs on our appliances because "I called him too much". I continued to try to make contact with Acj Co. until September of 2014 with no response. I'm out over 1800$. I have reported this company to The Better Business Bureau & feel ripped off to say the least. After loss of wages from work over missed appointments the tally comes to about 2300$ of loss.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! When I called the Thermador Co. they said they could send any part out we needed. So not only were we lied to, we were completely misled. We have consulted an attorney & hope to get reimbursed someday. Please don't go through what we have! Avoid Acj Appliance Repairs at all costs! I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

three  weeks later could not get them to answer or return calls.  Had to call another company who told us this is a scam company that takes your money and runs.  Do not use them!

How did it go? It went terrible. The repairman said that I needed a new ice maker. I ordered a certified ice maker replacement online which arrived in a timely manner. I called the repairman back and he came to install the new ice maker. It did not work! I contacted the online provider where I had ordered the ice maker and they promptly sent a new one out. Tried the new (2nd)  ice maker and it did not work either. Finally, my son in law suggested it might be the solenoid valve. I ordered a replacement solenoid valve from the same online company that sold me the ice maker. The new solenoid valve arrived promptly and my son in law installed it. Viola! I had ice in just a few hours. I now have 3 working ice makers, Two issues: One, the repairman never checked the solenoid valve. Two, when a repairman comes to inspect an appliance such as a refrigerator or freezer, I think they should wash their hands. This may seem insignificant but clean hands in a customer's clean refrigerator shows respect for the client and a degree of professionalism. Same as wiping your feet on the mat when you enter. Therefore, I will NEVER use or recommend this appliance repair company again.

First service call was made on 10/4/13. Tech cleaned cooler but said board was bad and needed to be replaced.  Tech ordered board but would take 1 week to arrive. On 10/16/13 Tech installed new board but said manufacturing company said usually the thermostat needs to be replaced as well.  Called Tech on 10/17/13 to notify him that cooler was still not cooling.  He said he ordered thermostat but would take 1 week to come in.  On 10/25/13 called company and was told part was on backorder but should be received by 10/30/13.  Called and left message on 10/31 and 11/1 but did not receive a return call.  On 11/4/13 was told that part would be overnighted and would be in on Wednesday, 11/6/13.  Office reported that the tech (Albert) had the part with him but he was currently on another service call.  Spoke to Albert on 11/7/13.  He said he did not have the part with him and in fact has not been in the office/shop in the last 2 days (company lied).  On 11/8/13 husband spoke to Albert. He said the part was in the shop but had no idea when or if he would be able to repair.  Called office and asked to speak to owner.  Office said she was at doctors office with daughter and they would NOT provide her name.  Called back 30 minutes later and spoke to owner, but still would not give name.  We explained the horrible service and the run around we have been receiving and asked for a refund or for them to come out immediately to repair.  Owner finally agreed to a partial refund but would need to get original invoice from Tech, which would not be until Monday, 11/11/13.  I explained that I had a copy of the invoice and would fax it over.  They do not have a fax machine.  I asked for their address because I would drop off a copy of the invoice.  The owner REFUSED to give physical or mailing address, stating it was a private residence and then HUNG up on me.
