I have an older whirlpool model washer. Eric from Able Appliance Repair came out today to look at the washer. He assessed the problem right away which happened to be the drain hose behind the washer. Quick service, reasonably priced, and most of all very knowledgeable in his trade. I would recommend him to anyone.

Knowledgeable and quick response. He spotted all the issues with the dryer and now it works again. Had the parts and fixed the appliances on the spot. I had given him the makes on the phone and he identified the manufacturers with a few manufacturers so he came prepared. These are older appliances and he knew how to work with them for a good price. Far better than replacing them. I am a repeat customer but don't think I wrote a review before.

Called Eric 9/6/17 Wednesday afternoon to repair my dryer that would not start and set up appt for Thursday around 10:30-11:30 am. He called Thurs. morning to see if he could come a little early around 10. Eric arrived he was pleasant and professional and quickly diagnose the problem. He then went out to Metairie to get the part and returned and fixed the the dryer. I would say that he had my dryer repaired in less than 1.5hr. Was not watching the time . I live around Magazine and First. Total cost including part was $89.00. I would highly recommend Eric.

Waking up to a warm refrigerator on Saturday morning immediately sent me to search out a repairman on Angie's List. I called Eric, he asked a few questions and had diagnosed the problem even before arriving at my house. He arrived when he said he would, quoted a price , and repaired the refrigerator promptly. All on a Saturday ! I would use him again and he certainly gets my recommendation. Thanks Eric.

It was terrific. He opened the freezer and immediately saw that a gel pack was flat against the vent, preventing cold air from cooling the lower half of the refrigerator. He was not judgy and indicated that this was probably the cause. He then opened the refrigerator and noticed that flat up against the down vent were other obstructions. He then explained in very professional terms how these vents worked. PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

I received excellent service from him. He did a Dryer repair for me. He did such good service the first time that I called him again for a refrigerator repair. The second time I called him he couldn't repair the brand name I needed repaired but he referred me to someone who provided excellent service. I will definitely use his services again.

The repair was more involved than originally anticipated. He ordered the parts for me and had them in and installed in 48 hours. He was very professional, and I would definitely use him again. I highly reccomend him!

First of all, let me say that I could not be more satisfied with Able Appliance Repair. A rare treat in customer service in this area. The compressor on my Amana refrigerator stopped working during the night and I was sure I would be faced with replacing my unit. I spoke with Eric in the morning. He was at my house this PM, diagnosed and repaired the problem. I'm back in business.
I cannot express how courteous and professional Eric was in helping me. He diagnosed the problem and explained the remedy. He was knowledgeable, articulate and personable. Would not hesitate to recommend him.refreshing change from previous experiences.Now, I got me a go to guy for future appliance repair needs. Thanks again, Eric.

Eric answered the phone promptly and arranged an appointment to look at my refrigerator ice maker on the day I requested. He arrived on time and checked the ice maker determining the unit was working. He found that the water line was clogged with frozen water and after freeing it found that the valve was not working correctly. I also asked him to replace the water filter. He called his supplier and went to get the parts he needed and returned promptly to install the new valve, replace the filter and clean the grate under the refrigerator. He was very professional and helpful and his charge was very reasonable. The ice maker has been working great since. I would definitely call him again.

"Not quite sure about this review or reviewer, this is a classic case of you can't make everyone happy, as I remember everything went well from time the individual called to completion of job, I stand 100% by my work and professionalism, I also call into question this members motive for such a mediocre review 5 months ago from actual date of repair. I advise this individual to call Pope Francis in The future to do your appliance repair work as he is the only person that is going to make you happy."

I was very lucky. Washer stopped on Saturday noon. I did not expect to get anyone, but when I called about 4 pm, he answered and was able to come right out. Was very clear in describing the solution and knowledgable about the machine. Figured out the gear problem with central rotor without being asked about it.
Very professional and pleasant and clear in is description of what was needed and how difficult it would be. Whole process of call to repair took under 45 minutes, which must have been a record (my timing was very lucky). Price was good for the service.
I would recommend him to anyone.

Eric was timely and efficient. It was a challenge to actually access the dryer where he needed to, but after that was accomplished the problem was fixed relatively quickly. He came out the day after I called him which was a huge plus! Would definitely recommend him and will use him again!
