Abbey Road Workshop

He was recommended to me by a friend who had extensive remodeling done.  He did a wonderful job of matching the paint that had been on the wall for nine years, but the sheet rock was not as seamless as I would have liked.  Now there is a little bit of a crack there which tells me that the tape may have had a bubble in it.  I think his expertise is not up to the level that I want it to be, but he did an adequate job.  He asked for money at the end of the week which was unusual.  I’ve never had to pay for part of the job halfway through so that the contractor could pay his men.  It was during the summer and very hot and I was worried that one of his men was going to have a heart attack.  I know his price was good or I know my friends would not have used him. If I have a job in the future that involves aesthetics, I probably won't use him. 

Paul walked off the job. He did part of the work and then left two men that did not know what they were doing. They used the wrong kind of paint. In the bathroom I wanted to have new hardware and they did not do this right. I let Paul know that this was not how it was supposed to look. Paul became furious and said that I had insulted him. On the previous Friday before this he made a comment that it was payday. I asked him how much we needed to pay and he said $1800.00 so I paid them even though the contract stated I did not have to pay until the work was done. The work is still not finished because he left and never came back. The work that was done to him it was finished but I would not agree that it was finished.
