Description of Work: Lopez Renovations agreed to come by my residence and provide a detailed bid for my garage conversion project. The planned project was to convert one bay of my three car garage into two interior rooms and bathroom. I had emailed the plans for the project to the contractor three weeks prior to he and his lead carpenter coming to my home. As I walked them through the area and discussed the details they seemed interested in and capable of performing the work. The contractor assured me that he would return a detailed bid to me within a couple of weeks. I never heard from him again, even after several attempts to contact him he wouldn't return my calls. I am glad in one respect, if the contractor couldn't do what he said he would do by providing a simple bid on plans that I provided, I'm sure that I would have had other issues or problems with him had I actually used him for the work. Tips: Get several 'detailed' bids from qualified professionals, research their company by asking who they have done work for, be aware of their willingness to communicate with you, they should ask several questions on the details of the work that you want them to perform and you should ask several questions of them to ensure that they know what you expect. Only select contractors who provide free bids/consultations. Good Luck!

Description of Work: They did sheet rock and they turned my garage into a game room. Installed both interior and exterior doors. They refinished my wood floors and they did crown molding.
