I would like to express a BIG thank you to Acme Exteriors. I had several contractors look at my roof, many of which would not give me an estimate until they knew what my insurance company was willing to pay. Acme came to my home on a Saturday morning and went through a detailed description of their products(samples included) and explained how the process works. They gave me an estimate without even asking about the $$$ from my Insurance. Acme Exteriors was willing to help with the paperwork involved and contact Insurance Company if needed. Being a very confused and hesitant 1st time roof buyer, I am forever grateful to them for making the experience easy and completely stress free. THANKS A BUNCH Acme !!!!

The company was very professional and did an excellent job. Their price was the most reasonable and the 40 year shingles were the best product. They offered more for your money than the other 4 companies i got bids from. They offered opus blanket felt that cant be torn and is an incredible product. They did everything beyond my expectations. I will definitely use them again and refer them to my friends and family.

The owner took his time and explained all details of our new roof. He was also very helpful and patient with us when we were trying to decide on the color. He provided a quality roof at a fair price. One of the roofers did damage one gutter. However, Acme replaced the gutter very promptly.

From a newspaper ad and BBB rating and Angie's list, we contacted Acme. The request for information was returned promptly. Marvin Taleovich came to our home with sample shingles and discussed at length shingle types,colors, durability, life expectancy,warranty coverage, pros and cons, and he was very very clear on what work and materials would be provided. Based on price, information, ratings, and prompt response (response is a big thing when you live in an area of the country affected by Hurricane ISAAC), we signed a contract that day.Marvin made it clear that he does not start a roofing job if rain chances are 20% or greater. So after a stretch of bad weather, Marvin contacted us to let us know where we were in the "queue" of jobs scheduled and that the shingles were ordered. Within a day or so, we heard from him again. Unfortunately, he had some bad news. The shingles were in but they were dated with two different dates, making for a probability that the colors between packs would not match. The manufacturer was not going to run another batch of that color until the spring. Marvin basically said 'you are not going to be happy with this install if i use these shingles'. He didn't have to inform us of this issue. He could have easily used what he got in and said that's just how shingles can be. But he took the time (and trouble on his part!) to let us know, to ship the shingles back to the manufacturer at his own expense, and come out with samples AGAIN for us to pick another color. Once we had selected our color again, the new shingles were ordered and the work started THE NEXT DAY!!! The crew was here on time, they were polite and considerate of my property. They removed old roof, checked for any decking damage, applied new felt, drip molding, replaced venting pipes as needed and painted those and the existing ones to match the new roof. Then they went around the yard area with a rolling magnet to pick up any nails. They followed that with picking up any shingle, wrapper, or paper debris. The job was completed in 5 hours!!! We are more than thrilled with the results and would highly recommend Acme for their integrity, workmanship, and commitment to doing everything they say they will do.

Appts. were made 3 times and never came. I waited for some one to come and no one came.

Three companies from Angie's List were contacted. ACME Exteriors had the lowest bid. They provided a 40 years roof at the same cost as a 30 year roof. Marvin was on top of the estimate and time frame from the start and kept in contact with me. ACME Ext pointed out that my insurance company failed to add in the cost of a second story house which provided me with an additional $500.00. The employees were professional and courteous during the entire time. All work completed was above standards. FYI: My day job involves construction and maintenance contracting and inspection. One of the things we award contracts on is "Best Value", which means even if a company is higher in price, if what they offer is a better value, then that is what we would award. Saying that, even if ACME Exteriors had not been the lowest bid, I would have hired them as best value. I cannot say enough about them, and as an inspector can usually find something to ding a company on. ACME Exteriors is above board. Call them out, I believe you will be pleasantly surprised and impressed.

Roof was damaged by Hurricane Issac so I contacted local roofing firms for estimates. Acme Exteriors was responsive and Marvin Talinicich, the owner, arragned to meet me. Their prices are adveritsed and are competitive with other firms that I contacted. Marvin was very responsive in scheduling the work to fit my schedule and I was able to oversee the entire project. He showed up as promised and we inspected the roof together. Once his crew began removing shingles it became apparent that the roof sheathing would have to be replaced as well. While the sheathing was off I decided to add blown in insulation. Marvin helped negotiate a price for labor with his crew and we purchased the materials required. He returned at the end of the day to inspect the work. I was very well satisfied by his punctuality and helpfulness. I was expecting it to be a very difficult experience but it went very smoothly and the job was completed to my satisfaction. They left the site clean and neat. Quality of workmanship was above average in my opinion but i did require additional nails in some sheathing which the work crew complied with. At the end of the project I was well pleased. This is not the same company as Acme Roofing. I would not hesitate to use Acme Exteriors again provided Marvin is involved.
