Very happy with the work Garcia did on my roof. It looks great. The crew that did the work was very professional and cleaned up while they did the job. Once they were done, I couldn't tell that anyone was in my yard. Extremely happy.

The actual roof replacement was great. The workers and the supervisor was great. The problem came from their office where there were charges for wok not done and added charges that they refused to verify. I was charged approximately $2000 for tapping my pool which was never done and removing and replacing of the attic ventilators that was not done. Then I was given a supplemental for approximately $5000 without any itemization for the charges.

Review of Garcia Roofing I live in Mandeville in a house that is approximately 30 years old. My roof was worn and I did my research before contacting Garcia Roofing for an assessment and, ultimately, a proposal to replace. The salesperson was a former roofing company owner and came to my house, climbed on the roof, then reported back to me his findings. He documented three areas of potential failure and also thought overall the roof could last another 2 years or so. I requested a proposal to change now, selected the products that I wanted and he presented me with a firm and written proposal. He also explained the process so I would know what to expect. Garcia Roofing did all that they committed to including keeping me informed of their backlog, delivery date for my materials and dumpster, and introduced me to the jobsite supervisor, Alberto Nunez. An 8-man crew arrived at 6:00 am sharp on the appointed date and went right to work. Alberto arrived soon after and we went over the job to be sure that we were on the same page. There was never any confusion. The crew, lead by Jesus, worked 12+ hour days for 3 consecutive days. They removed the old asphalt shingles, felt paper, nails and drip edge. Then they installed the new drip edge, the valley material and the underlayment. At the end of each day there was never any exposed bare plywood. Alberto visited 2-3 times each day and went on the roof to discuss with Jesus and his crew as well as inspect the surface. The crew only took brief “hydration breaks”, but never left the roof to do so. One man would bring-up a bucket of cold bottled drinks to distribute. By the middle of the third day, the roof shingles and ridge tiles were complete and they spent the next 5 hours cleaning my property. They had laid tarps wherever possible, but that is not perfect. There was a good bit of debris around my home and detached building. One man used a blower to first clear the roof and gutters of debris. Everyone participated in cleaning the grounds and they did a great job. They raked, swept, used magnets to pick-up nails and many of them were on their hands and knees plucking nails from the surface. Alberto returned the next day to make a final inspection and get the last payment. He inspected my attic to be sure there was nothing out of place. I am VERY pleased with the final outcome of my new roof. I have a written guarantee and a dependable roofing contractor I can now call if I ever need service. I want to thank Alberto Nunez for supervision and quality control. And, of course, I want thank Jesus and his team for their meticulous skill, their extraordinary work ethic in the high heat of summer and say that I was fortunate to have these good men on my job. After having a troubling experience with another well known Baton Rouge roofing company, I was glad that Garcia Roofing was a completely different experience. The first part of my experience was meeting with Darrel Walker and going through his thorough inspection of my roof and over my options of repairing vs replacing. I asked a ton of questions and received all the information I needed to make my decision. The process was informative and stress free. The second part of my experience was the roof replacement process. I really appreciated the constant communication from the project manager, Jose Vargas. Jose was able to keep me up to date on the progress of the project and walk me through the work done afterward. I also received messages from the office project team with updates on material deliveries and repair dates. Going through any major home repair or replacement can be a very stressful task. I really appreciated the time, information, and attention to detail I received from the entire team at Garcia Roofing.

Anthony, the supervisor, went up on the roof, marked the spots where they proposed to install the turbines and explained what the job entailed. The installer arrived on time and did a very professional job. Anthony came back and checked out the finished product. Garcia replaced my roof a couple of years ago and did an excellent job. Their personnel are very knowledgeable, very professional, and very dependable. They show up when they tell you they are going to be there. Great customer service and excellent completed product.

Roof came out great, but unfortunately after a heavy rain it leaked. $45,000.00 is a lot for a roof to have it leak. One thing I didn't like was that I didn't meet the project manager until the end of the job. Leaks do happen so I have to give them a chance to rectify it. Also didn't like that they used a subcontractor to install the roof instead of in house installers.

Donovan White, On-site Project Manager, evaluated our roof provided pictures of damage, explained in detail the available solutions, the difference in packages and quality as well as the degree of training each Team member went through before being allowed to work on a costumer’s roof. Donovan, in detail, presented each package, price and clarified all questions, told us what to expect and met those expirations. A house with a large roof was completed in one working day. The entire work site was scowled no less than three times for those allusive roofing nails. The site was cleaned up and we had a party the day after the roof was replaced. The on site construction team were professional, focused extremely well organized and efficient. After the job was completed Donovan personality got on the roof inspected the quality of craftsmanship, took before and after pictures; then entered the attic to confirm the work from the inside. I have experienced many Craftsman and Site Project Managers over the years; and none are better than Donovan White. To advance his status will exponentially improve Garcia Roofing. Given Donovan’s engaging personality, zest for his job, and physical stature will translate well as the face of Garcia Roofing. I can see him in front of the cameras representing all that is Garcia Roofing.

Everything went extremely well. The work was excellent. Everyone we dealt with was very professional, friendly, and eager to answer any questions. We were extremely pleased.

Avoid Garcia Roofing at all costs!!! I booked them for new gutters for a 4-sided shotgun-style roof and it took 16 months to get it done. I feel like a total sucker for using them. Read my story and know that this is how you will be treated. When I booked the job, they took my 50% deposit and said it would be completed in 3-4 weeks. A month later after hearing nothing, I called in and they hadn't even ordered the materials. Another month passes and a bunch of very sketchy looking dudes show up to install the gutters. They spent the day shirtless, screaming profanities at each other, much to the delight of my elderly neighbors. At one point, one of them seemed to hurt himself pretty badly, from his screams. They had no safety equipment, why would they?? They left trash, nails, metal scrap, cigarette butts, and leaves from the old gutters all over my property. So they left without installing any downspouts. They eventually came back with no notice to install those. Calls about that were not returned. I found out days later that the leaf guard I paid for was NOT INSTALLED AT ALL. I guess they just thought I'd never notice! If you book them, be sure to have a drone or a way to get up and look at what they did. The next time it rained, water poured through big gaps in the gutters and, in many places, they were so far from the edge of the roof that water just ran off the roof onto the ground. What followed was a year of calling to get the gutters fixed and the leaf guards installed. I can't even say how many times someone said they were coming and then just didn't show or call. The leaf guards were finally installed but so badly that a guy had to come back a couple of times over about a 7 month period. He told me himself that he did it really poorly the first time. Garcia Roofing just thinks you probably won't go up and look. Drew, who handled my job, seemed basically annoyed that I wanted anything done. Texts were never answered at all and calls were ignored more than half the time. No show, no call was more common for appointments than anyone actually showing up. They promised me some measly amount of a discount, a couple hundred bucks, and guess what? When the bill finally came, it was for the full amount, of course. They would routinely ignore my calls to fix their pathetic work for months and months but when they send you the bill, you get a text, a phone call, and an email EVERY SINGLE DAY until you pay. They are the worst. If you hire them and you get Drew, cancel the job immediately. I hate this company so much, which I guess is obvious from this review. I can't even cover it all here. DO NOT HIRE THEM!

Optimal from first meeting with Josh including follow ups with accommodation for medical issues and time availability. Taylor was fantastic in his supervisory role from initial and post inspection and during the work. All of the workers were a team from start to finish and any staff from telephone contacts were cordial keeping us in informed of schedules.

We chose Garcia Roofing because we wanted a highly reputable, local, Louisiana licensed and insured roofing company. We had a GAF HD shingle roof installed previously, that was approximately 8 years old. Hurricane Ida winds were (my estimate as we were in our home during the storm) 130mph sustained for 6-8 hours. We considered both shingle and the standing seam metal roof for our roof replacement. We chose the standing seam metal roof as the most cost effective long term solution. Garcia Roofing installed a 26 gauge standing seam metal roof for us. We’re very pleased with our new roof. It’s beautiful and very well installed. We chose the medium bronze color. The installation crew did a superior job. We had to replace 36 CDX plywood sheets to fix the damaged roof deck. Additionally, we had facia/soffit repairs included. We highly recommend Garcia Roofing and their standing seam metal roof. Thanks Garcia Roofing for taking excellent care of us!

Estimator was very responsive including changes I requested and were made after the fact. Agreements all signed in advance, including updated 're-signed' agreements after changes made. Communication between estimate, time of deposit, ordering, and scheduling of install was excellent. Project lead was on-site and resolved issues quickly during the install - including replacement parts, vents, couplers, etc. Replacement of rotted boards was done. Cleanup was excellent. Roofing materials were delivered just in time day prior and high quality materials were ordered / arrived. Lead time between estimate and install was longer than expected but I attribute that to economic issues and supply chain more than this company's willingness to do the work; they are also probably very busy given their name recognition in the area and advertising. Warranty communication was good. I hope the roof lasts but I have no reason for me to suspect / expect any issues based on what I saw. As of now, I am pleased and would use them again / recommend them. I chose them given the number of online reviews and their local name recognition. I expect others in the area are cheaper but I wasn't willing to take a chance in my situation.

From start to finish it went well, from tarping the roof, to the estimator, the supplier, the scheduler, the project manager, and the roofers. The tarpers came out within a few days of my call. When some of the tarp came off later, they returned and secured the roof even better. The estimator answered all of my roofing questions and dealt well with my insurance company. The supplier delivered the right materials on the day promised. The scheduler kept me updated on when the roofers could come. The project manager handled everything. The roofers showed up in a van at 6 am and finished replacing the roof by 2 pm. I walked the roof after and they did a great job. The project manager closed out the job in a professional manner. I strongly recommend Garcia Roofing.

Excellent experience from start to finish, it took some time due to the storm and supply shortage but I will ONLY ever trust Garcia for my roof. GARCIA DID MY ROOF!!
