Terminix - Metairie -Termite & Pest Control

quickly scheduled visit to give me quote, all online, very professional, decent price. Ended up choosing another company.

Josh was terrific. He arrived on time and did a thorough inspection and pet-friendly treatment of both the inside and outside. During his inspection, he noted two home maintenance needs (a broken soffit vent and an insect entry point where the A/C enters the house) that he suggested I address. Because my house backs into a park, he included a rodent bait trap in my year behind the A/C unit. I noticed immediate results. After about 2 months I called Josh after we began to see signs of roach activity. He retreated the house the same day and the treatment was totally successful. My only complaint is with me -- why didn't I get this service sooner.

I have a termite contract with Terminix.  They treated the house for powder post beetles and that was part of my contract that I have with them.  I was under contract so it cost me nothing.  We really had to go to the mats to prove I had a contract with them, despite coming out every year and inspecting the house.  And finally, when I was able to prove that to them to the point that they couldn't say no, it doesn't exist, then they finally came around and provided the service.  They came out, did the service did a great job.  I would say the guys who did the service I would give an A, but convincing them that I did have a valid contract, I would give them a C.

They're very conscientious. They're always available when I need them. They come back as many times as necessary to alleviate any problems.

I had an issue with them on 2014 where they have a bait system around the house and they come and check it.  I had a large tree that fell on the house during a wind storm. The tree was weak because it got eaten up by termites. Terminx never informed that the tree was full of termites. I thought that they should have told me about that but they didn’t. They are suppose to be experts in termites so why they didn’t say nothing about the tree that it was eaten up so bad that the wind storm came and made a big hole on the roof and I had to replaced half the roof and the patio cover. I had Terminix came and they never assume any responsibility for any of that. The bait system had a warranty where that they would repair something if termites damage anything.

We were very pleased with the service provided by Terminix to protect our home from termites. Ronnie Gardner, from the Inspector/Sales Department of Terminix, did an excellent job when he came to our home to over the options available to us. Ronnie was very personable, courteous, knowledgeable, punctual and professional. He showed us how he determined the price for servicing our home and answered all the questions that we had. We were also satisfied with the service by the two men who came out to treat our home. They were also courteous, punctual, and professional.
