I wanted a qualified craftsman, so I asked Plumbers Local 60 for referral. They listed Stat Plumbing. My excontracted with Stat Plumbing for above work. Robert Junker directed his apprentice (with only five months of training) to start with the copper piping. The apprentice proceeded to do the entire job, with only phone contact with his boss (the journeyman who should have been doing or at least overseeing the work). Upon completion, I inspected the job and found several flaws and shoddy workmanship. I contacted the Local, submitted several photos and then followed up with the business agent/manager. He agreed that he would not accept this quality of work. The plumber, rather than returning to correct problems himself, sent his apprentice who created the mess,to speak with the ex (who knows nothing about plumbing)and see what needed to be changed. No changes were made.Blind City Inspector approved the work.Written complaint with photos sent to State Plumbing Board and Attorney General.
Description of Work: Replace all galvanized water supply lines with copper, add air chambers to water lines, replace drain waste vent pipe, reset plumbing fixtures and replace tub and tub faucets and shower faucets. The galvanized piping that needed to be replaced comprised approximately 20% of household water supply lines.
