I plan on moving to New Orleans, probably by the end of the year, and I sent Sanderson Services (among others) an inquiry via Angie's list to determine whether or not he provided inspection services related to the structural and mechanical condition of properties that I might consider buying and if so what his fees would be. I also asked if he could offer some general ballpark cost estimates for the types of work that I might expect, especially should I find myself looking at bank-owned properties. After all, I will be new to New Orleans and am unfamiliar with the market there. All of these are services are routinely provided by many general contractors here in New York PLEASE NOTE: Within hours of my original review below, the owner had reached me via e-mail stating that the response I had received, ostensibly from him, was in fact from a hacker. He said that it had happened before on with another prospective client and that the matter would be investigated. He apologized for the incident and invited me to contact him when I reach New Orleans and promised to offer whatever assistance he could. It was finally, a thoroughly responsible and professional handling of the matter and I am more than satisfied with Mr Sanderson's handling of an awkward situation. - - - - - - - - - Unlike other, more professional contractors who responded with either simple "I don't do that," type responses, or requests to contact them when I've found a house that interests me, this respondent (I presume Mr. Sanderson) answered with a long, vituperative exposition, laced with misspellings, that anyone interested in quality work such as he provides does not question prices, a tirade against "flippers" and a suggestion that I find my tradesmen in the "parking lots at Lowe's or Home Depot". All in all a highly inappropriate and unprofessional response. I consider myself as having dodged a bullet here and would urge anyone, New Orleanean or Newcomer, to run the other way when offered a pig in a poke.

The electrical went terribly on that project. They also did some installation of appliances which they damaged. What I like was the owner's hands-on approach but his sub-contractors are terrible. He makes a lot of excuses for them. He doesn't take care of the issue at the end of the day. It's not taken cared of.

Not finished yet but no doubt it will be beautiful.

We renovated our kitchen and added on a camel back to our existing home. Paul did a great job of staying with the character of the home. He has a good eye for detail and supervisors his sub-contractors very well. Our home came out beautiful and we have had nothing but compliments. I recommend Paul to anyone who would like a contract with an eye for detail, excellent supervision and completion of projects on-time! (PS - I was pregnant at the time and Paul finished the week before our baby came early! He did a great job of getting the house complete before our second child arrived!)

Their attention to detail was very good. They were very thorough, clean, punctual, courteous and professional. We would use them again.
