Description of Work: A passenger side stationary window was shattered and needed to be replaced They came out two weeks after I called and replaced the window leaving broken glass in the parking lot And prince was too expensive. Almost 500.00

 + -1 moreAt first I thought it was great. The guy came out to the house and no deductible on the insurance. I could still see where the chip had been. There was still a little mark/chip there, but I thought it would prevent further damage. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. A few days later, I noticed a crack going down from the repair. A few more days and another crack started from the point of repair and started snaking up the windshield. Now, I wish I had just left the chip alone. Eventually, I'll have to replace the windshield; sooner than I had planned. I wouldn't grade them F, because I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but I wouldn't use safelite again. Will add photo later.

 + 0 moreI received email and text reminders leading up to the appointment. The driver called my phone just before arriving. It was a rainy day and I had my car inside a parking garage, where we agreed to meet. I only had to unlock my vehicle for him, then could leave and wait for his call. He performed the installation in about an hour and I went back over to sign the ticket. He came with all the tools he needed, printed my credit card receipt, warranty and even transferred my brake inspection tag. They were professional, quick and fairly priced. I liked all the online scheduling and quote. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Safelite replaced my front windshield, which had a large crack. They came with one of their vans and performed the service at my house. I scheduled the service online the day before. The website quoted an accurate price (I used the Angies List coupon) and provided a four hour installation window.

 + -1 moreThey were great. I called them and they came to my location. They fixed it for free when it turned out that the repair was faulty. They fixed it immediately; they sent somebody out within an hour. They took me in the car to their shop and fixed it even when I didn't have the receipt. I was impressed with them. They backed up their work. I liked that they came to my house. They were polite and pleasant. They were quick. They charged me what they told me.

 + 0 moreWe needed services desperately as my mother in law is in a Hospice facility. The lawn service blew out the passenger side window of my wife's 2005 Honda Element. We needed the car to be available ASAP. Safelite appreciated the situation and put the glass in with in hours of being called. Greatly appreciated their fine service and I thank them for helping to reduce the stress my wife was feeling.

 + -1 moreI like the fact that the manager (Matt) solved the problem by giving me a lower cost for the replacement of the windshield. Of course, I ended up spending more getting the replacement instead of a repair, but he gave it at cost, and they fixed the problem right away. I'm giving a B+ and not an A because the repair was not done right, but the service made up for it.
Description of Work: I had a small chip from a rock hitting the the windshield on the driver site. I called and got an estimate and set the appointment up. I came over and they did the job within 30 min. However, when I got in the car, I noticed the resin had not cover the whole chip and there was a diamond like spark at the level of my vision. I went back in an asked that someone come out and see the problem. It took another 30 minutes but finally the manager came out and acknowledge the problem and told me that they could not re-inject resin so the only solution was to replace the whole windshield. You could imagine my frustration, but he said he would credit what I had paid already and just paid $150.

 + -1 moreI scheduled the service and the service representative arrived promptly to the site and repaired the rock chip, cleaned all of the exterior windows and vacuumed the front seats and mats. He explained my warranty and gave the the necessary paperwork for my files. Overall I was very pleased with the serivce and would call them again and recommend them to others. Thanks
Description of Work: I had a rock chip in my windshield. I went on-line to see about getting Safelite to repair the windshield. I began to schedule the service on-line and when it showed me the price quote it was more than I was anticipating having to pay. That's when I asked for a customer service representative to contact me by phone. The customer service rep returned my call and let me know that because I was insured by State Farm the quote would be lower and they would come to my site and preform the service without an additional service fee.

 + -1 moreExcellent! I was able to arrange for at home service within 2 days of the day I called. They notified me of my serviceman's intended time of arrival the day before. He called early that morning to confirm service time. He arrived within 15 minutes of scheduled time. He got to work promptly and finished within an hour. He even cleaned all the exterior glass on my car when he finished. The windshield was exactly the same model/style as I had previously. He was courteous and knowledgeable about his procedures, and answered several questions I had satisfactorily. Overall, I was very pleased with the convenience and quality of the job. I would recommend Safelite enthusiastically!

 + 0 moreI was looking for a windshield replacement company that was reliable and that I could trust to give me a good quality windshield. They originally quoted me a price that I thought was a little high. I told them that was to high and they gave me a discount. I also printed the $20 coupon from Angies List. At the time I now the guy who replaced my windshield know the coupon was not real. We found out that the $20 coupon listed on Angies List was fake when we got my husbands windshield replaced. Even though the coupon was not real Safelit still honored it. Overall we both had really good experiences with our safelite. I would use safelit again for any other future windshield.

The weather was pretty bad, and he did a good job. Even though we couldn't finish up the last little bit before it started raining, he actually gave me the product, so I could finish it up. He was a good guy.
