Builder failed to complete contract. Things that were done were done poorly. Cool deck eroding, Concrete cracking, Pool tiles cracked, replaced pool tiles crooked, still have tiles that are cracked, walls warped, pool surface dull and seriously scratched, first step into pool is hollow. Pool set higher in ground than our house slab. Yard erosion headaches. Pool was supposed to be run on solar panels not house electric, that didn't happen. Builder left job with no pump, I had to buy pump, hire electrician to finish job. There are still many things left to do, We are doing most of it ourselves. okay well there is way too much bad to write it all here. Contract signed in July 2011, was supposed to take maximum 6-9 weeks.... When we hit the 6 month mark it was all but over... but not completed by any standard. Contractors explanation for not completing job was that (He underbid job and therefore could not complete job because he could not afford to work for free.) George Phillip (Phil) Baxter is a person you should be very careful around. Checked other sources and found nothing bad about this person or company. He had a few people speak up for him (personal references). They may have changed their recommendations after this job. Visited a project he had in progress, seemed to be going well. I did not know about angie's list before building a pool. Just signed on and was surprised to not see a listing on him. We don't have a desire to harm anyone but would not want anyone to experience what we did. The End.
Description of Work: Fiberglass pool installation with solar panels and pump to run pool with solar power not house electricIt is in yard but... it has been a very bad experience.
