Pat was very involved and proactive throughout the entire home purchase process, from constantly sending us properties to view online, to showing us countless homes, to being present at every inspection (even ones when we weren't able to be there), to the closing. She had a clear understanding of what we were seeking, and found numerous properties that were a good fit for us. She was very patient, detail oriented, and thorough with her explanations, especially about the buying process and what to expect, but most importantly to translate all of the legal language in the contract into plain English that was understandable to us.
Pat also has past experience in construction, which was invaluable when walking through homes. Since she is aware of things the average lay person is not, she would often times point out items that might need attention when looking at homes, and give us an idea of what things might need urgent attention or not. Minimizing the number of 'surprises' you find after buying a home is extremely helpful, and there aren't many real estate agents that have this extra layer of construction knowledge and experience to offer their clients.
