The guys who came out were very nice and professional. They got the job done within a very reasonable amount of time and cleaned up well before they left. I noticed the toilet was rocking a bit the next day (I did not notice it the day before) and it was the weekend so I left a message at their office. My message was that it was no hurry to call me back when they returned to the office, however I got a call back that day anyway and they had the installer come back out on Monday to fix it. No more issues! I will be using this company next time I need something.

The technician made several attempts to snake the line through the vent pipe but was not successful. He then took the time to snake the line through the discharge line from the sink and was then able to remove the debris that had accumulated in the line over many years.

Very well. The communication from Mudbug was appreciated. They were able to arrive earlier than expected and called to ensure that we would be home. On arrival, the plumber immediately understood the installation issues and got to work. managed the issues without problems. On completion, he ran us through the install process and informed us of the one or two future issues he said we may want to address going forward. Very professional and very much appreciated.

They not only had the video, but also had a diagram of the lines they were able to email me for another unrelated project. Great customer service and terrific record keeping!

Cleared, but left a mess. I was informed, the clean up was up to me. I am 84 years old and it was very hard for me to clean up.

They tried to hide things from me and did a terrible job.  They told me that they would put copper pipes on the whole exterior of home and that installing PEX on the exterior was illegal.  Guess what they did?  They put PEX pipe on the exterior and had it wrapped in insulation.  Did a poor job at wrapping it (which will not protect it much from freezing) so I saw all the PEX plastic pipe about a year later when I looked at the exterior.  Failed to secure the PEX pipe under the home so now much of it is resting on the ground where rats and bite it.  (which does happen).  They also tried to scam me by connecting the PEX in the home to the old Polybutlyne piping behind my tub, which is obscured behind an access panel.  The main point of having them do the job was to get rid of the Poly and the galvanized supply pipe that was increasing my insurance costs.  You see Poly is a defective pipe that is illegal to install because it has leaking problems.  They tried to leave it in my home behind the wall.  I busted them on that one and made them fix it during the installation. So I paid for high quality copper pipe on the exterior and I'm stuck with PEX, which is lower cost and quicker to install so it saved them money.

My wife noticed our water heater was leaking in the garage when she was leaving for work at about 2:00pm on a Tuesday. She called me to let me know and asked if I could come home and have a plumber come by right away to look at it as it was flooding the area and coming through to the guest room (level ground between garage and rest of house).
I called mudbug and told them I would be home in about an hour and they said someone could be there by 4:00pm that day, which was great news. I arrived home a little early and they met me there closer to 3:00 o'clock than 4:00.
They found the problem with the pressure release valve and fixed it within about 20 minutes while I cleaned up the flood. It was extremely fortunate they were able to arrive on such short notice and fix the leak.
The charge for a $10 part and 20 minutes of labor seemed a bit steep, but I guess was reasonable considering they were able to arrive same day on short notice.

We called mud-bug after the sink they installed had started to drain slowly and leak after about 3 or so months. They arrived next day to clean it out and repair the leak. They had to install a clean-out line under the sink to allow access as we have no access outside of the house and then snaked the drain, which cleared the line. The leak turned out to be from an old o-ring or gasket that fit between two of the pipes which they also replaced.
Overall the service was as expected, and the price was reasonable. They may have earned an A for quality, but forgot to do a full test of the drain before leaving. After they left, I filled both sides of sink and let them drain, and noticed it was still leaking. They promptly came back and resolved the issue, but its just one of those things you kind of feel they should have thought of when they were there the first time.

They provided good service for the first service call to reset a toilet and check the water.
The second service they scheduled, were supposed to be on their way, and then I was informed at the last minute, that they canceled, never telling me why.  I later found out they had canceled because they could not get another couple of service calls in our area to combine with mine.  If they had told me this from the beginning, I would not have wasted time and days with my problem.

This work was done in conjunction with a job at my mother's house as they were installing the old sink from her house at ours. They arrived at her house and completed the work as expected before bringing the replacement sink to our location. The installation went relatively smoothly, except that the new deeper sink couldn't accommodate the existing configuration so they had to reroute some of the drainage. We're not entirely pleased with that, but it appears it may have been unavoidable. 
They did get the sink installed and checked for leeks, however, after they left there was some general clean up that they did not take care of, and excess caulking around the sink that had to be removed. 
As previous reviewers have stated, they price was not discussed beforehand and was much steeper than expected. This was surprising because we have used them before and always found their rates reasonable, although the final price was adjusted and was a bit more reasonable if still a little steep.

He's still my plumber now!  I've been using these guys since that fiasco 10 years ago.  They always do a great job!

How much do they charge to replace a garbage disposal? Dinged me for $595 without telling me how much it would cost until it was instatlled. Disposals at Lowes cost 100-200 brand new. I guess the labor of two men for 25 minutes runs about $350 and hour per person!!! I was too tired to argue/haggle that day so just cut a check. What's more? The thing began to leak because they did not thread it correctly, and I received warping/water damage to the bottom of the sink cabinet. They did reinstall correctly once I finally noticed the damage - free of charge - but I had to insist. Thanks Mudbug. $600 for a poorly installed disposal. What a RIP OFF!

The reported promptly and scheduled. drained my hotwater heater. While draining the hotwater heater, took care of my kitchen drain that was not draining properly. The hotwater heater was replaced quickly and efficiently.

Our house sits on piers. They redid drainage under house but neglected to say anything about an old open pipe where an old toilet and tub used to be. We did not find out about till the second day after everything was completed and the main drain backed up. The pipe was a mere five feet away from where they did work. Luckily, the backup overflowed under the house through those pipes instead of into the house! He wanted to charge us extra to fix this safety issue which his guys ignored. And for having to reroute gas lines after his crew put the water heater in a different location than where we had planned. He was reluctant to fix any of the issues which were due to his inattention to detail. Gas feed into house was placed too far from original riser. Laundry and master bath sinks have hot and cold water lines reversed. I received call from one employee (who already talked to the owner and he told him to call me) that my toilet was "defective" because it did not have holes in the tank to attach it to base. I left work to meet with him but, he had already left for lunch. I read the directions that came with the toilet and figured out that on the bottom of the tank had a metal flange for the screws to attach and then to the base.

I had used Mudbug before Katrina and was pleased with them. There prices increased dramatically after the storm which was evident in a couple small jobs we had them do. Then we needed a sewer line replaced and they left our foundation dug up for weeks with our only toilet emptying straight onto the ground. Not only that but workers would be dropped off and hung out on our porch all day waiting to be picked up. We couldn't get a straight answer out of any plumber that came from Mudbug. The owner was out of town for a month and no work was completed until he returned. It was a disaster and because of this I will never use them again.

I have used them several times, but in the past week I have had them out 3 times for separate pipe replacements. I am in the middle of a kitchen\bathroom renovations. They gave me an estimate, showed me what they were doing before they did it and showed (explained) the results afterward.
