They could mop the floor better and they could pay a little more attention to detail.

Merry Maid provides the service every other tuesday. We have been using the same service for three years. The same team of ladies comes every two weeks, reliable,and punctual. No problems.

The service was so horrible, that I now have a filed with my VISA company for return of funds for the 4th cleaning.  This is the first time in 37 years of owning a Visa that I have ever done that for services rendered.

First cleaning was costly, $349, but worth it.  The cleaned everything top to bottom.  I was suppose to ahve people show uo and they only sent two, but they worked liked mules.  The second time, it cost me $249 but they were fininshed in 1 1/4 hours and missed lots, the third time was okay.  I am fulfilling the next service and probably will not have them return.

I was very dissatisfied, thats why I haven't had anyone else come back into my house and they stole from me.  They sent in 3 different women and they went into different portions of the house, so there was no way I could watch all of them.  When I called after they left and told them they stole $50 from me, they asked if I saw who did it and when I said no, they said well there is nothing they can do about it.

Merry Maids has been cleaning my home for almost two years now. I have them come every other week. They do a very good job and I am happy with the price they charge me.

I used Merry Maids for a few years and knew they were a little more expensive.  However, I liked the idea that if something went wrong they were a licensed and bonded corporation, so I felt that they would respond to any issue appropriately.  You can expect new or different people in your house very often.  After the first year, I found a spider's nest behind a framed picture resting on my mantle.  I let that slide and then the last straw was a missing item (that I never move from its location in the house).  Merry Maids stated that they have not had a problem with the employees that were there that day and that was all they said or did.  When I canceled their overpriced service after several years of business, they sent my keys to me without even an apology or a “thank you for your business” letter.  I found someone else who does an even better job, has been reliable, and charges $85 vs $140.  I feel like a sucker for giving them so many chances.    

Punctual, fun woman leads a crew of two that comes by our office every two weeks.  The supervisor is very quick and eager to please.  Her helper's quality is hit or miss.  .  We have established a list they should do every visit and that has helped.  Licensed, insured and bonded and that was a must for us. Overall, regarding the low standards of other cleaning services in the NOLA area, we are happy.

Cleaning is generally inconsistent and haphazard but the maids are actually more professional than the office staff. Scheduling mix ups will be the fault of the customer whether the office makes a mistake or not.  And you will be charged regardless of fault or circumstances.   Maids work sick.  Very unpleasant  experience.  Much happier with new arrangement.

The team is very punctual, professional, and does a good job. We have been using the service since July 2010. They come every two weeks.
