Description of Work: Sony 50in. Digital TV wouldn't turn on. McCann identified small component that needed to be replaced. Did the work in 4 days. TV works fine. The part was very inexpensive, most of cost was for evaluation and labor. Pricey, but I feel it worth the cost.

+ -1 moreMcCann Electronics was great. I didn't pay anything it was under warranty from the manufacturer. They handled all warranty information. They did all the work. It was a good experience. I did it all through email basically and they were responsive and great. I didn't pay a dollar.

Description of Work: The tech was on time and did a thorough exam of my flatscreen TV. He discovered the problem was an oxidized coil. He cleaned it and placed it back in the TV and now by TV works great!

Description of Work: My Large screen color TV went out and when I called and explained the problem , they asked me for the name and model and they told me they were sure this could be fixed by me. They told me to come to their warehouse and purchase a part and install it myself and they gave me specific instructions on how to accomplish this process. I had this exact problem 5-6 years ago and spent a few hundred dollars from another company and they never let me know my manufacturer had it sit up to be fixed by the owners.

I was told relevant conditions, such as cost of in-home service, putting dogs in another room, etc. Received a call on the date agreed to from the repairman, who then arrived on time, and did an excellent job. The repairman had a great deal of experience, was friendly, and proved to be an interesting conversationalist.

+ -1 moreThe man came when he said he would. He called ahead to let me know exactly when. He was very efficient and neat in his work. He had all the needed tools and had a padded table on which to set the screen while he opened the TV and worked on it. He stayed about an hour. The work is guaranteed for 90 days. I was surprised at the cost. $200 to come to the house, $250 for labor, the rest was material and tax. I was not given a total approximate estimate over the phone. I was told that it cost $200 for him to come to my house.
Description of Work: The two capacitors were leaking causing the TV not to turn on. He changed the two capacitors.
