I am a real estate broker, but had not heard about Keypoint, so it wasn't me that recommended them to my client. It was actually a friend of hers who had evidently used them, but I was quite impressed. Peter and Larry do a very thorough inspection. You basically get 2 inspectors on the job for the price of one. Their final report wasn't a slick, high-tech electronic report, and it wasn't downloadable via the Internet, but it was unbelievably detailed. They spent nearly 3 hours at the property and it was a ranch on slab. It didn't even have a crawlspace.

The experience was great. They are very knowledgeable and pay very close attention to detail. Every expectation was exceeded. They even measured the level of the houses slab!! Look no further these are the guys to inspect your home. You will not be disappointed.

These guys are absolutely the best home inspectors! We've had horrible experiences in the past, and one cost us thousands in unexpected repairs after we moved in. It took them over 4 hours to inspect the 2800 square foot house. They were very thorough. Their key systems is intuitive. Important things are given one color and nonimportant things another. We loved them. If your house is not in top condition and you're trying to sell, you better home your buyer doesn't pick these guys.

We love these guys. Peter and Larry are so smart and miss NOTHING. They saved us from buying a poorly renovated money pit in Old Gretna and that day we decided we'd never use another home inspector. We're using them now on a house in Metairie that we've got under contract, and their knowledge and explanations of issues are definitely coming in handy at the negotiating table. 
They explain the process and their findings to first-time home buyers (like us) in understandable language. They go over everything with a fine-toothed comb and their report is color coded - red keys next to items indicate a safety issue/big deal that need to be fixed immediately and so on. 
They welcome questions and never answer in a way that makes you feel dumb or patronized. They're so good that they TEACH home inspection. They're more or less teaching us home inspection as we go through with them - they're full of information and happy to pass it on.

These are the guys you want, ESPECIALLY if you're a first-time home buyer and really intimidated by the process. You'll be in great hands with Keypoint. 
 

When I called for an inspection, I asked for the 1st available appointment and  I received it within 3 working days.  The office manager was efficient and explained the entire procedure, provided a quote of services (what was quoted was what was charged).  The office staff was knowledgable and answered all my questions.  As an added service at no extra charge, they coordinated the wood destroying insect inspection and video plumbing inspection at the same time.  This saved my agent and myself quite a bit of time trying to coordinate these additional inspections.  When the inspectors arrived, one inspector went through the house turning everything on while the second inspector provided a copy of the state requirements, the inspection agreement, explained the report format, and asked what concerns or items I had observed on the property.  They inspected everything on the inspection agreement and clearly exceeded the state inspection requirements.  When there were finished, I received a clear verbal report, all my questions were answered, and I felt that I knew every aspect of the property.  I received the written report the next business day.  The report was clear, detailed, well written, and did not use any language or descriptions that were not explained.  In today's business world, you look for good value, good price, and customer service.  I am accustomed to only getting one of the three....this time I got all three!  I highly recommend this company for anyone needing a home inspection!
