Install went well. Had a bit of difficulty getting a call-back regarding warranty info.mi did have great service. There was a problem, a supervisor came out and figured out the repair. Then the original installers returned to fix it, while fixing it they found another issue and repaired it. Great company.

I worked with Debbie (salesperson) who was very nice and professional. She understood my needs and conveyed that her go to person Michael. He came out to do our measuremenst and gave us some pointers on what would give out countertops a better look, and he was right. I love my kitchen. Daniel and his assistant was the contractors they came and wasted no time getting the job done. It was very professional and nicely done. I couldn't be happier with my granite countertops. The job was done efficiently. In the future I want them to do my vanity and countertops in my bathroom. I am very impressed. Debbie(in the install dept) was very professional and assisted me with getting everything scheduled. I would say the entire process was approx. 2 weeks.

Bumpy results, slow installation, foreman not present when individual worker laid floor. Disappointed with total result. Very unprofessional in response to our complaint about the end result --almost as if it was our fault.

I want to update this review as I just received a call from Jim Owens himself and he apologized for all of the inconvenience. He offered me the 15% discount I originally suggested. It doesn't change the mistakes, but it does prove that he values his customers and wants to make them happy and satisfied. Thank you, Mr. Owens.

We needed to re-carpet our upstairs, so after some searching we decided
upon Jim Owens Flooring and Cabinets as the salesman was very helpful
and accommodating... unfortunately, that's where the help stopped!
After spending Easter weekend moving furniture to be ready for an 8am Monday
morning carpet installation, no one showed. At 9:00am we called and
were told that they were and quot;running behindand quot; and would be at our house
between 11am and 1pm. The installer actually arrived at 2pm to begin an
8 hour job. At 11pm, we finally asked the man to leave as he (and we)
were exhausted. He had to come back the next morning to complete the
job... causing more missed work and commotion.
I called Jim Owens to express my displeasure and the installation manager agreed that
a mistake had been made, but informed me that they were busy and didn't
have enough installers. I asked to speak to someone who could
authorize compensation for my time and aggravation. The owner contacted
me and offered his apologies and admitted that errors were made, but
wanted me to suggest the compensation for the error as he had no and quot;chartand quot;
that dictated what the protocol should be. So after some discussion,
my husband and I asked for a 15% discount on the job.
When this was communicated to the owner he was outdone with this request and asked me if I thought the request was
FAIR. In the end he offered me less than a 10% discount.
The point here... save yourself the aggravation. There are too many other
retailers who would not ever put their customers through such
ridiculousness and then act insulted when a suggestion was made. Your
time it too valuable to put up with the ineptness and rudeness at Jim
Owens Flooring and Cabinets!

George arrived on time, measured the floor and gave us an estimate. We were very happy with the price as it included padding, flooring, installation and trim plus they would remove old carpeting and take away. We gave him a deposit of half. About nine days later the flooring was brought to our home to acclimate for a few days. The installers arrived the next Monday morning about 9 a.m. and by 4:30 were all done. Living room is 12 x 17 and a hall was done. They worked through out the day, only breaking for a quick lunch. They cleaned up the work place in the driveway.

I went to the showroom to look at laminate flooring samples. The salesperson I spoke to was very helpful and showed me the options they had available of which there where two I was particularly interested. He sent a couple samples with me and we held onto them for two weeks to be absolutely sure we went with the best option for our home.
Installation began a couple of weeks later and went smooth. The installation person did an excellent job and the floors look great.
The only issue over the whole process was a miscommunication with the installation date but we worked that out with no problem and moved forward. Overall and excellent experience and I will use Jim Owens flooring again should the need arise.

Overall very pleased with service and product. minor issues we encountered were resolved.

Good job from beginning to end. No problems. I would recommend Jim Owens.

We hired our own installer.....and just used Jim Owen as a place to buy tile and flooring

It was a wonderful experience. I wish all of my house repair/remodeling experiences could be like this.

WE HAD PLANNED TO USE ANOTHER THEN DISCOVERED THAT JIM OWENS COULD DO THE JOB WE WANTED. ONCE ESTIMATED WE FOUND THEM $1,500 BELOW THE OTHER PLACE AND WENT WITH JIM OWENS BECAUSE OF THIS PRICE AND I HAD CHECKED BBB AND ANGIE'S LIST. ADDITIONALLY, WE HAD POSITIVE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM FROM PREVIOUS CARPTE JOB.

Extremely well

I was very pleased with the salesperson and the installation crew. They were on time and cleaned up. They came back the next day and finished the job. I haven't had any problems since. They came when they were supposed to. They gave me the quotes up front. I have recommended them to other people.
