DO NOT USE FRANK LAROSA... From the initial with Frank everything seemed fine he quoted us $6000 to do a fence. He asked for more then half down $3250, which I thought was odd since most legitimate full time contractors have open accounts but we paid it anyway. Our check was cashed the day it hit his hand. He started a few days later and again asked for more money $1625 which we paid and which was also cashed that day. On the day he showed up at around 10am, he came with no supplies and had to leave and get them, he then left again to go and get extension cord. When he finally got back most of the day was spent taking down old fencing posts and auger work for new post. Not even 8 post were set that day. He came out alone the next day alone and only set two more posts and left due to weather. After that he never showed up again he blamed weather, he blamed his only other worker for not coming because he was at his real job for a week, he blamed everything under the sun. So I finally called and told him we just want our money back minus his investment to which he yelled at me about all the factors that kept him away and hung up in my face.. Out of the $4875 we gave him, he claimed two days of travel, auger labor, and the few posts we had totalled $1039. After a month of endless ignored calls and text I asked him if he would just please come finish the fence since my money had obviously been spent on other things and was never going to be returned, he agreed. He even went so far as to send me a text confirming new start date, well he never showed up he blamed his flooded house, I was told was not even his home, from mutual friends. So once again the battle of phone calls and texts started. That was 5 months ago and to date Frank LaRosa has only given me $250 towards my total investment of $4875. There is always some lie or some story he wants to tell you as to why, always trying to use his so called personal issues and mess of a life to play victim and get sympathy. There have been times in the past 5 months I have started to forgive and move on, and then I will get another Frank text at 10 pm promising to return money, swearing to make this right and it never comes. We hired another crew finally after saving for awhile again, and not only did it take 3men 3 days to do it, they worked everyday in the rain.. What Frank LaRosa has done, stealing this money from us, has hurt me and my family finacially, and is something we are still recovering from..
