Felix Alonzo

After seeing some of Felix's work at the home of a friend we called and found he had just finished a big job - building a house from ground up - and was free for our smaller, 3 week project.  He and his helper showed up on time for our first appointment.  Though his English skills aren't perfect, it was easy for my husband to explain what we needed.  From day 1, Felix and his helper, Roberto, worked hard with only a short lunch break and both kept working throughout the day.  When they came to the time of sanding the floors for refinishing, they carefully curtained off the area and cleaned every accessible area afterward, including vacuuming the walls!  They worked on the Saturday we ask them to work and didn't on the weekend we needed free.  We had enough confidence in them after a few days that we gave them a key.  They let us buy the materials we wished to buy and they picked up things we asked to pick up. They worked for a very reasonable fee, asked to be paid at the end of the week's work, and reported fewer hours than the actual hours they worked.
In short, after having several bad experiences with carpenters, we were delighted with the work of these men.  We highly recommend them to anyone.
