Raised the roof from 3/12 pitch to a 12/12 then ruffed in for the new rooms and baths. Good work fair price.

Work did not go well at all.  This contractor was given a set of plans drawn-up and a list of specifications, followed by a discussion of everything.  Never received a written quote, dumpster and port-o-let parked illegally in front of house for 5 months until I called dumpster co. and port-o-let company to remove them and called this contractor to end the "work".  At that point, no work had been performed on house for many weeks.  Every part of the job was done wrong and had to be redone at least twice, sometimes three times.  Di Giovanni was hardly every present for anything.  Never had the drawings and list given to him, appeared not to be aware of even discussing some things that had to be done.  We even did internet searches to get the best prices on kitchen cabinets and bathroom fixtures and handed the results to him.  We ended up doing the ordering.  Somehow, it felt as though we did all the contracting work: dealing with his sub-contractors, some of which were good, some not so good, and having to pay him also.  The whole time, we asked for everything to be written down, to be itemized.  Never received it.  In the end, when I cancelled the dumpster, port-o-let, and this contractor, he proceeded to yell at me over the phone for doing so!  I have since found out that he has never paid his plumbing sub-contractor $7000 and had not paid his carpenter an unknown sum of money in addition to sticking him with at least 1 un-returnable and unusable window for this job. Totally useless.

The work was done promptly. He was able to get the materials in a couple of days and have the roof done in one day. Of course, my roof wasn't as big as the average but the job was done and I was treated well. I would use him again.

They do good work and they are reasonably priced. They completed the job in one day and cleaned up everything after the work was done.
