This is the fifth time I've had Cary work on our house. This current job involved a roof repair on the front corner of our garage and replacement of all wood below the roof leak. Cary is always right on time and does the work right the first time so I don't have to worry about fixing it again in the future. For this repair job on our garage, he also milled raised panels to match the existing panels on the other side of the garage (this is a LOT of detail work--plus it's careful measurement so the panels would match existing panels on other side). Cary is full service (fixed the roof, fixed the wood siding, painted) and left the area spotless--nothing for me to clean up! In previous jobs, Cary replaced our old cupola on our garage, raised and modified a recliner after my husband had a hip replacement (and he came out on a Saturday to do this because my husband had just gotten out of the hospital!), fixed various broken things (e.g. cabinet hinges), and he custom made a trim for a bathroom mirror. It was one of those big wall to wall mirrors and I found a photo online of intricate wood trim that I gave to Cary and he replicated the trim EXACTLY. Everyone thinks we completely remodeled that bathroom but all we did was paint the walls and had Cary make and install the mirror trim. In fact, when our son saw the "new" mirror for the first time, he said it looked like the bathrooms in magazines! I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Cary and how easy he is to work with, the superb quality of his work, his very reasonable prices, and how he's so attentive to detail and making sure that as a customer I am happy with the work he has done.

Like everyone else has said (and the reason why I chose Cary), Cary was super easy to work with. He promptly came out to look at the job and emailed me an estimate, which was less than I was thinking it would be to fix the window leak. He arrived 15 minutes early on the day I scheduled the work to be done. I've had a lot of workers in our home over the past 25 years, and can say that Cary has been the neatest and nicest of all!!! He brings everything he needs (he even had his own fan to blow the sheetrock mud dry), he showed me every step of the way what he was finding (where the window was leaking, how the water was getting in, what he'd need to do), and the best part of all, is that he's full service--he also painted the wall and trim--so there was nothing I needed to do! The wall and window do not look repaired at all--they look perfect--and best of all, Cary completely cleaned up (not a speck of dust or plaster were left behind). Cary takes pride in his work and truly wants the homeowner to be happy with his work. He's really good at what he does---and he does his work with care--treating our house as if he was working on his own home--seriously! He's an amazing guy! The same day the job was done, I had a paid invoice in my email, so he is really on top of the business aspect in addition to doing great work. Cary's refrigerator magnet is now on my fridge and he is the first--and only--guy I'll be calling for repairs from now on!!

Instead of sanding the entrance panels, he recommended that it would be a much better job if he had the panels acid dipped. Beautiful finish which will last much longer and looks great. He was less expensive than a competitor who was going to simply sand the panels but would be unable to get all of the old paint off. He then sprayed the paint on the panels instead of hand painting, which again gave a much more professional finish.
Because he did such a great job with the painting, I gave him a number of additional projects around my home to complete........everything was done professionally and at a reasonable price. I'm very please with his work and he is a pleasure to work with. I've already contracted with him to do other work for me in the next few weeks.
I know you will be as pleased with Cary and his work as I have been.

Cary did an excellent job at a fair and reasonable price. I would definitely hire him again for any other jobs. My deck was starting to fall apart and Cary not only did a great job with repairs and painting but also gave great advice on choice of stain vs. paint and helping me select the boards that really needed replacing. I've never owned a home before with a deck, so I really appreciated the advice which worked out great! It has been a month since Cary completed this job and every time I walk out on my deck, I feel really good about the deck and the price I paid for this job.

I am so glad I found CNM here on Angie's list. I wanted some work done for my mother. She used to have someone she regularly went to but he had gone from kind of unreliable to totally unreliable and untrustworthy. I told him that she could not hire him again after his last job. I was very nervous about having anyone do the work but they not only had to satisfy me but my 82 year old mother. This experience was wonderful. He made appointment to give bid the same day I contacted him. And he had the estimate to me that night (the other contractor I called did not listen, was not timely in responses and came back eventually with a much higher estimate).
He came on the day he said he would, he did whole job in 2 days, no surprises in costs. Very professional attitude, appearance, demeanor. No loud radio playing. My mother was thrilled. Let me repeat that, my mother was thrilled.
I now have someone I can trust and my mother likes. I could not be happier!

Our large deck was in very bad shape from sun damage. Cary met with us to discuss the most economical way to
repair the deck and prevent further damage. Cary was on time, on budget, and extremely profession.
He is very talented and precise and demonstrates an attention to detail. We enjoyed our beautifully repaired and stained deck last summer, and have received many compliments on it. We were so impressed with his work that we have hired Cary for several other jobs as well.

I contacted Cary with CNM Home Repair because I needed someone with carpentry experience.
He came out to our business location where we explained exactly how we wanted these tables built.
We are very particular. They did an excellent job and worked within our schedule. The tables are straight, professional looking and very sturdy.
These tables will be used in our manufacturing facility for the next 20 or 30 years. I have used CNM Home Repair since then on a smaller job and would use them in the future.

After I placed my phone call to the provider, he came to my home promptly to assess the work that needed to be done. At that time he gave me a very accurate estimate to what the job would cost, including a breakdown of labor costs per hour and materials that would be required. He reviewed with me various options for attacking the job, and gave me the opportunity to choose the most cost effective, while at the same time with efficient and lasting repairs. He scheduled an appointment to perform the job the following week. The provider arrived punctually at the time of the scheduled appointment, following a follow-up phone call and text message to remind me of the date and time. He arrived with a fully equipped portable workshop, outfitted with all the tools and materials necessary to perform the job. The provider was friendly and maintained a professional demeanor. The job was completed within two days as originally projected. There were no surprises causing unexpected costs or labor fees. The job was completed to my full satisfaction, and to my delight came in a bit under budget. I was very pleased with the experience and a job well done. I would use this provider again with full confidence.
