I met Chris many years ago when she and her son and my father and I were bowling in a league together. Over the years, she stayed in touch with my family and when my sister began looking for a home, she chose Chris as her realtor. I recently discovered that I qualified for very specific type of loan and decided I no longer wanted to live in an apartment. I contacted my sister to see how her experience with Chris went and she told me to hire Chris NOW! I gave her a call and told her what I was looking for and she immediately went to work. I had found a house I was interested in but it ultimately fell through based on the inspection. Chris was armed and ready with new properties that met my criteria right away. She was always available by phone or email and we communicated frequently. Having little to no knowledge on the process when I began looking for a house, Chris took the time to answer any questions I had no matter how many there were (and there were a lot!). She was prompt and fastidious with any and all documents that I needed to sign. Her strongest asset comes from her years of experience at real estate. She knows when others are trying to get something by you or pull the wool over your eyes and will not stand for it. She was my guide during the whole process, advising me on making initial offers and counter offers as well as helping me decide which issues I should ask the sellers to address and which issues might be best dealt with by me. A colleague of mine was also looking for a house at the same time and when she was telling me horror stories of the incompetence of her realtor, I counted my blessings that I had found someone like Chris! With her help, I ultimately found a house I truly love in a wonderful neighborhood. Though I plan to stay here for many years, should I need a realtor in the future, Chris will be the one I call as well as recommend to all my friends.

She got the job done which was what I needed. But would have liked better results.

"Marketing and selling a home in a significant down market can be a challenging and emotional-charged situation as many sellers discover. It takes a dedicated, professional Realtor to establish a good relationship, a strong strategy to appropriately market a property as this seller discovered, as he had previously listed his condo with 2 different Realtors prior to calling us in to help him make this successful sale. Several positive responses were received from this seller during this sale process. Our focused, disciplined efforts and advertising brought a valid offer in LESS than 2 months and the seller decided to accept this offer. Real estate agents always strive to help sellers make the best deal and the most money possible even when properties were purchased in hot real estate markets. This seller purchased his condo (through another agent) after Katrina when prices were at record highs. Unfortunately for everyone, since that time the economy and housing market have been devastated. To further complicate the situation, financing on condos became difficult, nearly impossible to obtain as financial institutions tightened their requirements. Considering these facts and with valid review of comparable sales and days on market statistics, this was a successful sale and we were happy to help this client."

We moved to Louisiana in 2007 and after 4 years we wanted to purchase our own place. Chris was recommended to us by another real estate agent in TN.
I contacted Chris by phone and explained our situation to her and we agreed upon a time to meet. Chris came to our house and explained the entire process from start to finish and also gave us some things to be looking for when trying to pick out a home of our own. We gave her some ideas of what we were looking for and she gave us some places to start looking at.
Even though we altered our wants some through the process Chris continued to show us the houses we wanted to look at and made her self available often in these cases. Once we finally decided on one we made the offer and Chris was available and helped every step throughout. It made the process much easier on our end. She also came to closing to help make sure we were comfortable with everything we signed.
I would recommend Chris to anyone who is looking to purchase a home in the Metairie, LA and surrounding areas. It made the process of purchasing a home so much easier for us.
