CALAMIA CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATIONS LLC

When this person started working, they did a good job but they never finished their job. This company had an agreement to finish the work that they were supposed to finish, but never did. They do not have a listing with the BBB, but it shows on his page that he is a member of good standing. They have one unresolved complaint and they are not a current member. He is not in good standing with the Secretary of State and he is supposed to have a license, but he doesn’t. The license number listed on the BBB site is not valid. After talking to the city of New Orleans, he supposedly filed for a permit to do the work, but now I find out he had another electrician file the paperwork because he is not a licensed electrician.

My home was ruined during Hurricane Katrina and I decided to rebuild it. The house was gutted and I obtained several estimates for all phases of reconstruction. I decided to have Ace Electrical do the Electrical & HVAC work. They installed a new air handler unit and condenser, ran all new duct work and vent boxes, etc. Then they did the electrical rough in including cable, telephone and Ethernet. They arranged for the rough in inspection and once the work passed the rough in inspection I began the other phases of reconstruction. When all other reconstruction was complete, I contacted Ace Electrical to return for the electrical trim out and they did so promptly. Their service was prompt and professional! Everything was done according to the contract and there were no problems!
