they finally got me going after several visits and incompetent tech. Was charged for a large amount of man hours for a relatively simple job. The final bill was extremely high for the work performed. Would advise do not use this company.

It didn't--they didn't return my call to return to make the repair and, after three calls with no response, I called another plumber. I guess they didn't want my business any more.

The job went well and they did a good job, however when I got the bill It was much more than I expected it to be. I consulted with a couple of other plumbers I know in other cities and they agreed that the price was high. After some rather heated negotiation with the lady in the office I paid less than was billed. Although it was still more than I thought it should be, I was satisfied with the compromise. The plumbers that did the work were very nice, but I probably won't be using their services again.

I have used Traina's services for many years--probably 30+. Theiy have always been prompt, profssional, and have given excellet service. In this latest instance, I called in the morning; the job was completed the same day. They have done everything for me from installing two new water heaters within a week following Katrina to minor jobs like drain cleaning and have never disappointed. I highly recommend them.

I called them one weekday and towed my trailer in the next day. They said that the job would be finished in less than a week, and it was. They designed and made a pesticide spray rig reel handle shaft extension, welded it on, and modified the metal side of the trailer. $150.
They are congenial and it appears that no job is too small. A year ago they welded a lawn edger guard for me and charged me $20. The replacement part (if available) would have been very expensive.

Supply and instal tankless water heater. Told that I could have one in my garage. Purchased the heater and had verbal quote of not to exceed $2000 for installation.
The worker arrived and said that I could not have the unit in the garage and I had to exchange it for an outside unit. Much less attractive proposition involving long run to get hot water to the house.
Went ahead. Requested that the long pipe be insualted to the best possible degree. Job completed. Pipe not insulated.
Bill arrived for close to $5000.
Disputed it with Gary Traina after multiple phone calls not returned. Immediately threatened to sue me. I pointed out the 'not to exceed'. He said that there were extras, like insulating that long run of pipe. I told him that his guy had not done that work much to my disappointment. Eventually paid about $3000. (Sorry that I don't have exact dates and dollar amounts, but I am not at my home. Can probably get if needed.)

I do not have information on the cost of their services because they contracted directly with the homeowner. As manager of the project, working with this company was a pleasure. They were very knowlegable -- able to clearly and thoroughly provide the information/answers needed regarding the work as well as professionally execute the work.
