+ -1 moreI went over there to get a quote and he said he would call me back with one which he never did. He said he was traveling at the time and would try and get a quote for me when he got a better idea of what the price would be but just never called me back. He just really didn't follow up with what he promised. I heard that his quality of work is good but I would definitely not expect a follow up and you would have to probably follow up on you own.
Description of Work: I got a quote from them for a car repair.

+ -1 moreWe had a car that sat in the driveway for over two years. Car initially start but then stopped running. We took the car to our regular mechanic who looked at the car and could not fix the car. We found Bert's and took the car there where Bert found the problem and fixed it. The only thing was the orginal estimate was between 600-1,200. The actual invoice was $1,500. But the car was repaired

+ -1 moreI was waiting in the office for the very great staff he has to bring up my car and heard him talking to a customer who had a problem after his car had been worked on.. Bert was so amazing to this person I could not really believe it. He took great pains to listen, and answer questions, and I know I would have been so satisfied if I had been the person calling. I felt like I learned something just listening to him. Paying money to keep a '97 GEO running because I love my husband's little car is not always easy, but Bert makes it a pleasant experience because I know not one penny is wasted and the job is well done!
Description of Work: This man and his shop have serviced my auto for years. I would say he is at the high end of price but the trust level is thru the roof!! I lost my husband 4 years ago and he always took this car to Bert. When I tell you he will do what needs doing, offer you all possibilities and there is never any feeling of him running you in and out just to get the charge done. His respect for his customers is obvious and I have gotten on this list just to tell people how great a professional he is. My uncle was an outstanding mechanic in my home town years ago and I know a little bit about cars. For most women I know a lot. And that is what I like most about him. He is the BEST for a woman to go to because he treats EVERYBODY the same and does not talk down to you if you do not know something. I have had mechanics tell me "You just go in there and wait till I am done, little lady", like I am an idiot. I know the difference between a head gasket and a push rod, but YOU DON'T HAVE TOO! Burt will not do anything unnecessary, and tell you what and how much up front, with all the reasons why!!
