The roof that was put on leaked from day one and still to this day it leaks. I left many message over the years and no one returned my phone calls. Dean works for Affordable Roofing now and when I requested to PAY to have him fix it he never showed up either. It took over a year to finish the rest of the hail damage repair. They ruined my front door and sidelights by using cheap labor (the guy sanded the glass on the door as well as the wood...LOL) and had to pay another company $4,000.00 to replace it. They painted some things really half a** and each time they sent another guy out he would screw it up even more. I ended up having to get my own painter to finish the job and they picked up the cost. Overall they did a p*** poor job and that is why I have hired Cajun Restoration to fix the hail damage that happened this past year.

I was very happy with the work done by Augustino Brothers. I was always able to get someone on the phone to answer any questions, and the supervisor was on the job almost all of the time so I felt I was getting very personal attention on my job. Chris Augustino agreed to come back when i was ready to cut a hole in the roof for a vent that I needed but was not ready for yet. Indeed more than a year later they came back and cut the vent hole at no charge as agreed. I highly recommend this company.

Had several quotes to replace roof, and they were the highest, but not by much given the size of the job.
The met all of our expectations. The job lasted four days, but they did exceptional work cleaning up at the end of each day's work. The crew was very easy to work with...they had a very good supervisor. I ended up buying the crew lunches for two of the four days (Popeye's, poor boys, etc)....but did it freely. They were meticulous.
All material arrived on day 1 as well as crew. The only hitch i saw was related to the ridge caps; they were the wrong ones. We had orderd GAF weather wood slateline shingles but the ridge caps that came with the order were grey... They were replaced within a couple of days. Seeing that they weren't need until day 4 it didnt' hold up any of the work.
There were no surprises...new the price going in and issued a check at the end of the work (50% up front, 50% at the end of the job) and not a dime more.
Recommended them to a few other folks in the neighborhood for their roof replacements. Heard nothing but good from them as well (whew...would have really felt bad had it turned out to be a negative experience).

IT'S BEEN 7 MONTHS NOW AND I'M STILL DEALING WITH ROOF REPAIRS. UNFORTUNATELY, THE OWNER, CHRIS PERDOMO IS NOT RESPONDING TO MY CALLS OR E MAIL REQUESTS TO ADDRESS THESE ISSUES AT THIS TIME.

"The work that was done on this house did indeed stop multiple areas that were leaking. The homeowner had an old slate roof system, and we repaired the areas where it seemed the water was getting in. Augustino Brothers did in fact go out several times to address the issues at hand, but unfortunately there was still a leak. I informed the homeowner that the only way to waterproof the roof system was to pull off the old slates and install a new underlayment due to the age of the original slates."

Work went well except for damage done to flower beds. Since summer of '06, shingles continue to fall off the roof. Repeated attempts to get Co. to replace/fix the falling shingles got first two sets repaired; follow-on repairs have not been done, warranties on roof have been canceled by manufacturer and installer due to KATRINA even thought no damage resulted from KATRINA. Complaint filed w/BBB about this lack of attention resulted in Mr. Perdomo's threat of a defamation/slander lawsuit against homeowner for facts presented in BBB complaint. As of 06/06/2007, the fifth set of shingles (5 tabs, two rows) fell. All shingles fall in this configuration or larger. Also, mis-step in attic caused cracked ceiling as well as water damage due to missing vent cap. After 1st repairs, six months passed with no response; finally, complaint w/BBB resulted in company refusal to make further repairs. Five year warranty on roof from Augustino Brothers and the roof is only 2 years old this August.

"This customer first called in September 2006, a full 13 months after Katrina hit stating a couple of shingles had fallen off. We explained to her that due to Hurricane Katrina that the shingle and labor warranty was void. She could not understand and refused to believe that these were the conditions. Augustino Brothers, Inc decided that she was a previous customer and we did indeed repair the areas where the shingles had fallen. The customer called a couple of months later and said there were a couple of more shingles had fallen. Augustino Brothers again went out did not charge the customer and let her know that this was the last time we were coming out to address the shingles. The customer continued to pursue this matter,and eventually filed a complaint with the BBB. I sued the customer , and eventually everything was dropped."
