Arthur Hernandez

I called Arthur and left a voicemail over the Christmas holiday season. Although he was out of town, he returned my call, told me when he would be back, and then called on the day he said he would. He came out to look at the job on Thursday, and said he would call back with the price estimate. On Friday he called with a price and told me he thought he would be able to get a crew out on Saturday, but would call back later that day to confirm it. True to his word, he called back later on Friday and said that they would be there at 9AM on Saturday to do the job. Saturday morning they showed up, carefully put down tarps on the floor, so as they went in and out bringing in the drywall they would not get the floors dirty. By about 10AM the drywall was up and the specialist who did tape and mud got to work. They did a masterful job putting a smooth finish on the room and finished up, leaving everything cleaned up, about 5PM. Sunday morning Arthur returned, sanded the walls and put on a coat of primer (an added bonus, since I had only asked for the room to be ready for paint). Although the room was small, the job was not; the dining room is in the middle of the house, with 8 foot openings between it and the living room in the front, and the kitchen in back. The wall is completely seamless from the front of the house to the back of the house. The room also has a window, eight outlets, a wall switch, a ceiling fixture, and a furnace vent in the ceiling. Being a small room, they had to do a mosaic of smaller drywall pieces. They kept the work site clean and did not waste materials. They did a masterful job.
