Carpet was installed without a hitch.  Staff was very professional and courteous.

Good installation job. Our only problem we had was that on several occasions the bid we received was wrong due to bad addition and/or items left out.

First class all the way:

5. Excellent estimator and installers are employed by Acadian, which means that Acadian provides quality workmanship and stands behind their workers and their work (unlike the stores that subcontract flooring jobs);

7. No extra charge to send out an estimator;
8. Great financing plan is available; and,
9. The products were special orders, but arrived quickly.
10. Also, Acadian worked with our contractor's timeline to accommodate his schedule.
11. Finally, everyone who came to the job site was on time, had all the tools and products needed to get the job done, and worked non-stop to complete the job at hand.
Gail Smith worked hard to find exactly what we wanted, but, ultimately, got us a better product at the same price advertised at the and quot;big box storeand quot;. Marco and Felipe are top-notch installers, who were very careful of our unique renovation issues (tight spots, multiple cuts, awkward spaces). The painter did not have to follow them to and quot;touch-upand quot; any walls or woodwork. Their work was pristine.
By the way, the estimator contracted by the and quot;big box storeand quot; estimated that we needed more than 200 sq. ft. additional carpeting than Acadian's estimator. That would be 200 sq. ft. plus that we would have paid for, but not needed.

We selected Ua brand flooring in Asian Teak. The small online picture on the Ua site does not truly reflect the awesome coloration of the wood. The room view online picture is more similar to the real look of the flooring. The flooring is absolutely gorgeous!! I describe the floor coloring as a and quot;brunette with blonde highlightsand quot;. The color spectrum ranges from dark to light browns and on thru to yellow blondes .Any color furniture would work with this flooring. The flooring looked so beautiful once it was installed that I was hesitant to put our furniture back in the room :-)
The service and installation process was excellent . I have no complaints at all with the Acadian team.
One factor that I did not take into account prior to the installation was the odor of the glue and the actual wood flooring itself. It was several days before I could sleep in the room as I am extremely sensitive/allergic to odors/scents of all kinds which causes me to cough and makes it hard for me to breathe. We aired out the room with the windows open for the first few days and then I put a stand-alone air purifier in the room which helped dramatically to cut down on the odor.
All in all, I would highly recommend Acadian Flooring America in LaPlace, LA to other potential customers.

The sales process was fine, which is typical since they are trying to make the sale.
The installation process was terrible from start to finish (or and quot;not finishedand quot; as is the case here).
1. An initial crew was brought in to layout the tiling as we had a particular design we wanted. They misunderstood the requirements and messed it up. We asked them to cover up our furniture (cloth in some cases) and this crew did nothing about protecting our house, including not turning off the a/c, not covering up the furniture and not even opening the back door. In the process of grinding the glue off of the concrete flooring they covered the entire main floor in dust. Ultimately, they did agree to pay us $150 to have a cleaning company come in, but negotiating this wasn't easy.
2. A second crew was brought in and they fixed the problem with the tiles. Although, because of the first crew's screw up, they didn't get it exactly according to plan.
3. In another room we had asked for another design. While I was traveling, the supervisor convinced my wife that the design we wanted would not work. I came back, after the tiling was done, and found that our design could easily have been done. Now we're stuck with something that isn't what we wanted.
4. They broke tiles in an adjoining room pulling up the T molding. Not a big deal, but we had to pay for extra tiles to fix it. The problem, however, is that they haven't finished and it is now three months later. Do you think I will get it finished? After many, many calls I gave up trying to get it finished and will try to do it myself.
As I said, the sales process was fine. The installation process was a disaster. Don't use this company.

A few years back I really needed to get some flooring replaced in my kitchen that had become damaged from a leaky faucet so I reached out to ACADIAN FACTORY DIRECT FLOOR who I have used in the past. The workers at Acadian are very professional and their workmanship is of high quality. I have used Acadian 2 times now and will continue to in the future.

Acadian came to the house (a two story four bedroom) to take measurements for an estimate. Chad was extremely professional and offered good suggestions. Once the various materials were selected, an appointment was set-up and the crew showed up on time and ready to work. From the rip-out of the old floors to installing the last piece of trim, Acadian's crew did a completely acceptable job (including cleaning up). I would not hesitate to recommend Acadian to anyone contemplating new flooring and carpet. They are not the cheapest but they work to a very high standard.

I think they have buildings and showrooms throughout the city. The experience was definitely really good. I was really satisfied. They did an awesome job and I'm so happy with it. The hardwood floors are beautiful. I didn't do a lot of price shopping because I just liked their service and I liked the idea that they were close by, and it was going to be done in a timely manner. Their quality was excellent. I will definitely use their services again in the future.

It went well. The technician's that came out and did the job were nice and clean.

The workers had a lot of floor to do, they were very clean and neat and the floor looks fabulous. When we were having our doors and windows installed one of the tiles was chipped and the response time of getting here and fixing it was great, you could never tell it had been replaced (the window and door people paid for us to have it fixed)

At first I thought the installation labor was a bit pricey, until I started comparing it to other companies and found it on par with other flooring companies,, and cheaper than the big box stores.

We might have got it laid cheaper from some general contractor but their lifetime guarantee against tiles popping up etc helped us decide to go with them.. I was really happy with Chris, our sales guy, not pushy but responsive and helpful, and the whole business in general.

Acadian Carpet had installed laminate for me 10 yrs ago, and did an excellent job. After having a serious water problem in my kitchen, I chose to have the laminate replaced, so I contracted with them again. Their installers arrived when they were supposed to, and did an excellent professional installation. Even minor details were addressed very well. They completed the work in one working day. I am very happy with their work and do not hesitate to recommend them.

We chose them because of their price, their lifetime lay warranty which means they will come and fix it if there are problems, we found their label costs were reasonable and cheaper than some big box stores and they had a huge selection of tile. We liked the person we dealt with, they were neither uninterested and also not pushy. They were a perfect balance. It was a huge job, there were 3 guys and they did great. They were very professional and worked from 8:45am - 7pm at night and they cleaned up after themselves at night. They did ask if they could leave their trailer in the driveway over night because they had all their tile, which we had no problem with. We were really happy with them, they were excellent. It looks great and is holding up great. It was limited where we could walk because they did most of the downstairs, but that was nothing that was their fault. It is beautiful, everyone who sees it is in love with it, it is gorgeous. They will be laying carpet for us on Monday.

They did a very good job from start to finish with the estimate. The showroom visiting was great and guy that came and measured everything. They did a really nice top-notch job. I spent $ 6,000 on this job and I thought that their price was very fair and the quality of work was very good. I am planning on using them again.

These guys are awesome! Ask to see Chad if you can! I purchased a bound carpet remanent from them and was so pleased with my service, I cancelled my already-scheduled carpet installation and chose them instead. I gave them a price range up front, they only showed my carpets in my price range, and installed it within 48 hours. Very professional, very prompt, and I'll definitely see them again.

Best price I found. Very quick and easy to deal with. I plan to continue to use this company in the future.

Easy to get along with. The pricing is really good, comparable, the pricing and it actually better. They have a lot of in house stuff so you don't have to order much, they stock large quantities. They had all the tile I needed for my house. The installers they sent were great some of them didn't speak English but they were good.

I did have a problem that I did have to call back on and they came quickly and took care of it.
