I had an antique sew box that belonged to my grandmother. During the years it had lots of wear and tear on it. It was all scratched up and the drawers were held together with duct tape, thanks to my dad.'
I was given Shad's Weathersby by a friend for furniture refinishing and restoration. He came to look at the box and told me what he could do and the price. It took about a month. Well he brought it back today, what a beautiful job he did. You would never know it was the same piece. I'm very pleased.

They did a fabulous job. The rocking chair was from 1929. After the repair you couldnt even tell there was a crack in the seat to begin with. They were extremely efficient. They came to our house to look it over and pick it up, they even returned the chair before the estimated finish date.

We recently relocated from Las Vegas and there were a few items which were damaged in the move, including an antique pub table. After filing the claim with our relocation company, we were notified that Weathersby Furniture Repair would be handling our claim. Mr. Weathersby called me on Wednesday to make an appointment. He was very professional and polite. He showed up on time and within about an hour he repaired my bed, storage chest, and even antique pub table to like new condition.
The bed and the pub table had large, deep, scratches in them and the storage chest was missing a foot. They didn't just "cover it up" they actually fixed it. The quality was remarkable!

We are so glad to have met him and have him as a resource! We have antique family furniture that has been in our family for generations and has tremendous sentimental value. Recently one of the legs of our empire sofa broke - it did not look like it could be fixed because of its location in a curve. Also, we had recently discovered that two back chair legs were broken on my elderly mother-in-law's very old carved armchair in her apartment. I called Shad Weathersby's company, and his office made an appointment for him to come to our home within 10 days. He was there on the day and at the time promised and took the chair back to his shop, making an appointment to come back with it in 10 days and repair the couch at our home. When he returned with the chair on the day promised, the repair was phenomenal!. These back legs were broken with one jagged piece completely off. You cannot tell where the repair was made - it was perfect! You can sit in the chair without a problem. His repair on our sofa was equally impressive. You can't detect it - and the sofa will once again be in its place of honor! Shad gave us a reasonable estimate for repairs, and the cost was exactly what he quoted. High quality work at a very reasonable price! I truly did not think these pieces could be fixed - he is remarkable, and you can count on him to get the repairs done in a timely manner. I sent several vintage chairs back with him to have the backs repaired and have them refinished. Anytime we need any work done on our furniture in the future, we are calling him!

Sent email to the company. They requested pictures. From the pictures, I received a quote. We scheduled a time for pick-up. They picked up the table, and said it would take 3 weeks for the repairs. The table was ready within the stated timeline, and at the quoted price. The table was delivered on time. It looks great. I would definitely use them again. I was extremely satisfied with the service and quality of repairs.

Mr. Weathersby does beautiful work. The leg on this coffee table had been broken, and repaired badly, before I inherited it. then it had broken another couple of times after that, with bad repairs being done again. He took the table to his shop, cleaned up the break, shored it up with dowels inside, and did a beautiful repair. You have to look very closely to see where it was damaged. While he had the table in his shop, he also refinished it and polished all the hardware. It looks gorgeous and I am very happy with his work.
My only complaint is that he is so busy it took a while for him to get to me. He was supposed to repair an antique curio cabinet when he brought back the coffee table, but that did not happen. I called to get back on his schedule for that repair, and he wasn't available for another 3 weeks. I found someone else to do that repair.

Did a very good job, at a fair price. Two other contacts said it could not be fixed. Mr. Weathersby was on time, courteous and professional.

Weathersby is extremely professional. i emailed them and they responded promptly to set up an appointment. I received an estimate that i thought was reasonable and called back to set up the appointment for repair. They ask for a 2-hour window for their appointments which is fine. THe table was repaired and works beautifully. Will absolutely use them again.

Mr. Weathersby and assistant arrived punctually and first took on the task of shortening the china cabinet to fit the ceiling height in my home. I have to say I couldn't watch. To see someone take a handsaw to an antique that had been in my family for years was scary. However, when done, I could not even tell that anything had been altered. It just fit beautifully. I did watch him work in repairing the leg of my dining room table. Mr. Weathersby is an artist. He mixes his own colors, and again, upon completion, you could not even tell where the repair had been made. I sent him back with a small table that needed refinishing, and I am sure that I will be pleased with this work, too.
I will use Mr. Weathersby again and highly recommend him.

Mr. Weathersby was sent to our home to fix the furniture that was damaged by the mover. Mr. Weathersby did a wonderful job. You can't tell that there were any scratches. One of his workers also fixed three antique chairs that were severely damaged; they fixed them in Mr. Weathersby's shop. They now look like "new". The moving company paid to have these items repaired. The $40 charge was for a chair that was damaged by a window tinting company; this company left a strip of tint accidentally on the arm of an antique painted chair. The strip left a mark. Mr. Weathersby removed the mark and did not damage the painted design. He also worked on the other arm of the chair and it looks better too.
