Our family has been using Tropical Pools since 2012. We have lived in 2 different homes that each have had very old swimming pools (1 had a vinyl liner that was originally built in the 80s and the other a large plaster pool built in the 70s). Danny and his crew have always been extremely responsive and helpful in making sound recommendations on how to prolong the life of our pools. We have used them to change pumps, filters, motors, turn green water into crystal clear water, and will be using them to replaster our current pool. I'm not sure how their pricing is compared to competitors but what I do know is that when I call someone answers and if there is a problem they take care of it. On more than one occasion they have been over to look at our pool well outside of normal business hours to try to get us taken care of (remember they are very old pools) . Bottom line is that if you want a pool company that will show up when they say will, do what they say they are going to do, and only have it cost what they told you it would cost, then go with these guys.

We've been customers for several years and couldn't be happier. Danny Ulfers, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and has trained his crew well. The difference between their serrvice and the provider who preceded them is like night & day. Our regular technician, Joe, is not only a hard worker, but always cheerful and whistling. Our dogs love him! Once Danny & his crew got our pool "right," it has been extremely rare for us to have anything but crystal clear water, and on the few occasions over the last few years when it wasn't (usually after days & days of rain &/or extreme heat), a simple phone call resulted in same-day service. In addition to weekly service, Tropical Pool Service has re-plastered our pool, replaced the sand filter, and replaced the pump, all done with efficiency, expertise and at a fair price.

"We do not work directly with this client but through a home warranty company. Home owner sent a video of the problem and we ordered the part same day, she then asked if we could come in person to verify that was the problem which was done within 1 hour of her call. The only thing that I can see why she is unhappy is because she wanted the entire filter replaced and not just the part that was needed. Homeowner does not know our cost to repair because she only pays a $75 deductible. Her review was biased because she did not get what she wanted but what she needed. Our contract is with home warranty and not with her; We are only authorized to repair what is broken. She was offered to pay the difference to replace the entire filter which would have been easier for us to do, but she did not want to spend more than what the home warranty was willing to pay."

I have a weekly pool service with the company. The company is professional. Service is dependable. Employees are friendly and are helpful if I have a question.
