Semco Plumbing

He is licensed and he is a plumber. He didn't do the work but said he did. He does very shoddy work. He was supposed to hook up a washing machine. We turned on our washing machine and there was water in our basement. Also, he was supposed to put a fire wall because this is a double house, all he had to do was put a piece of plywood between the two houses in the attic. They have attic spaces for both sides but all you have to do is move the piece of plywood over and they can get to the other house. It bothers me. They were supposed to be done in February and we didn't sign off until the end of June. July 4th came in that area and we refused to pay him and the next week we had a lien against us. He was hired through the contractor and we never knew when he came or what he did, we would just get bills from him. He was dishonest, didn't fulfill his obligations and we owed him $12,000 at the end and we said we would sign an IOU and he would either do the work or we won't pay. He said he can only guarantee that it won't be paid back. He was also supposed to take care of the trash but he didn't. He was also doing work at another house and putting that trash in our cans and we were paying for it. This was a very nasty experience.
