Pitts Roofing

Contacted several roofing contractors in the area. His quote was near the low end. I am a contractor, so I know what to expect. He showed up on time and provided an estimate quickly. Gave a truthful response to when he could start which could have cost him the job, but I waited. Finished the job in three days with a crew of seven. Removed all debris and swept for nails around the house and driveway. Replaced two layers of shingles (approx. 4K sqft), five skylights, five sheets of damaged plywood, jacked up one roofing rafter, installed all new flashing and vent jacks, and replaced all reverse board and batt on chimney. At no charge, he installed 60 feet of gutter screens which matched the gutters! It felt like a friend came to do the work. Two weeks later and he called to make sure we were satisfied.

Would not recommend Mr. Pitts if you want the job done in a timely, orderly  manner. It took us months to get our job completed and I had to call him many times to get him out here. He works on more than one job at a time and tends to spread himself very thin. He does not do the work, he supervises. Sometimes he said his boys were coming and they didn't show up. He has a crew of 4-5 , non-speaking young men who are  not very neat. I placed a garbage can out for them to place trash in and they still threw it on the ground. My husband and I cleaned up nails, screws. tin, wood scraps and trash daily after them, which we had to discard of ourselves. Mr. Pitts knows what he is doing and the job was completed ok. It could have been done better, however we tired of dealing with him. He is a nice man, who has fair prices, however he doesn't care about his reviews on Angie's list.

Mr. Pitts is knows what he is doing. I felt very confident in his work. With all the recent rain, no leaks in my Dad's house. Skylights look great! He is very busy, and does not need a good review to work. I am pleased.

Excellent work and attention to detail. Leon Pitts and his crew went above and beyond to include interior work on skylights we had removed ( sheetrock and paint). Had done a roof inspection on the house and personally checked work to insure done properly. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

For the past two weeks i have been calling this company. its simply one man and a crew going around fixing roofs. i have called 4 times asking why they have missed my appointment. its always the same thing an apology, an excuse and then he would ask for a reminder on my address. This is one absent minded individual who lacks professionalism and punctuality. I have wasted and canceled numerous things over the last few weeks waiting on this man to not show up. Its time to take my business elsewhere.
