Very professional and efficient.  Tile work was impeccable.  Wood floors were gorgeous and they took any measure necessary to be sure sub floor was prepared.  All floor work was done in one day!

I have only good things to say about my experience with them. Let me tell you my experience leading up to Perque's:

Originally, I went to Home Depot and shopped the samples. When no one approached me after wandering their carpet aisles for at least 20 minutes, I left, taking the 3 small samples with me. I then headed to Lowe's. Once there, I was almost immediately approached by the lady in carpet sales. She answered any question I had efficiently and pleasantly. I decided on the swatch on a large board and asked for a sample to take it home. She informed me that there was no small swatch but I could take the whole board for a $25 deposit, which would be refunded when I brought the sample back.

Needless to say, I decided against taking the sample board. Then I asked about getting someone out to measure. She filled out a form, printed it and handed it to me. "That'll be a $35 estimate fee. You can pay for it when you check out". I think I remember her saying that price would be deducted from my installation if I did get the carpet. I asked when I would hear from them, she said within a week for the estimate and then probably about two weeks for the carpet to come in. I paid the $35 and left with my things.

On the way home, I decided to stop at Perque's. Jared helped me right away. We discussed pricing and options, padding, etc. I explained to him I need this done as soon as possible because I was going to be putting my house on the market as soon as it was done. He came out that very afternoon, measured the area and ordered the carpet. It came on Friday and was installed on the following Tuesday. I definitely recommend them. Their pricing is comparable but their salesmanship and service are by far the BEST!

Oh, one more thing, I went back to Lowe's and got my $35 back.

I selected porclien tiles and they had to order them. I was on a tight schedule. They said they would be in on a Friday and I asked that the installation be scheduled for the following Monday, which I thought the person in charge of scheduling installation agreed to. On Friday they called "to schedule installation". I said I understood it had already been scheduled for Monday and was told no that could not be done and they never scheduled installation before the tiles actually came in. Anyway we scheduled is for Tuesday. I stressed that I had an important and very serious appointment out of town on Thursday and had  to leave Wednesday.
The installers arrived Tuesday about 9:30 - 9:45.  After doing less than  half of the room they told me they had run out of glue or sealant or whatever they use to keep the tiles in place and that they would go and get some more and be back TOMORROW! This was before Noon.  I objected strenously and explained that was unacceptable. I could not believe they were so incompetent that they couldn't bring enough material to complete the job which they certainly should have known what it would be ahead of time. Also there is a Home Depot less than 10 minutes from my house.  They agreed they would get the material and return after lunch.  I am certain they just had another job they wanted to do or finish, but I have no proof of that.
I had a relative at my house and I left for a hair appointment. When I returned they had finished about 3/4 of the room (it's a very, very big room)  and they told me all the remaining tiles they had were BROKEN and they could not complete the job. The tiles would have to be ordered.  About that time I thought I would have a heart attack (I do have heart trouble)  thinking if these tiles could break in the boxes what type of junk were they putting down on my floor? I was extremely distraught.  Apparently the installer called the  Perque office (which in my opinion they should have done first). The sales rep called me and said the manager's wife was going to go to Baton Rouge to pick up some more tiles and that they would come back the next day and be finished by noon. Although this would put me a little late on my schedule I felt I could live with that as long as they finished by Noon. To add insult to injury when the installer left he said he would be back in the morning. I said and finish the job by Noon. To which he very rudely said "we can't guarantee that."  I have used Perque for flooring before and have been very satisfied with everything. I have never had such a negative experience with installation before.  The sales rep was very professional and they did everything they could to make things right. However, if these are the type of installers they now use, they should get new ones.
