Real Estate Auctions
The appraiser, Jason HIpps, visited the house and did a walk through. However, when we received the appraisal, we found that he had not counted one bedroom and one bathroom which made the appraisal defective for comparison and valuation.
When I called First Appraisal Network Services and asked for a review and correction, Kim, who claimed to be the Owner, said that we got our refi, so there should be no problem. I then explained that I paid $500 for a correct appraisal and asked for a correction. She told me that it was unnecessary. I told her that I wanted it corrected or I would let if be known that the quality of the work performed was substandard. She then said did not appreciate being threatened and hung up on me.
I am now dealing with Appraisal oversight authorities and my loan officer to try to get a correction which should have been an easy thing to do. What a hassle and unpleasant company to work with.
