My husband and I are driving across the country for a move, and needed our breaks checked. Due to travel our time is very limited, and Danny's got us in within 30 minutes of calling! They were professional, honest, quick, and friendly. A noise the breaks were making was checked out- Josh explained the cause of the sound, told us a repair was not needed and would be very expensive should we choose to do it. I appreciated his honesty, and would happily take my vehicle here again. My parents live in town, so I'll be sending them to Danny's!

We have been with Danny's auto for approximately a decade and his service has always been excellent and his prices are reasonable. We trust the work that Danny's automotive does. My friend and I laugh because we recently discussed our history with Danny's automotive and have decided that his office employee, Hank is the go to guy for any and all of your questions. Just call Hank at Danny's and I feel everything will be taken care of.

I own a 2005 Ford Expedition and it needed to have the timing adjusted. After I worked on the vehicle and was unsuccessful, I brought the vehicle to Danny's. I called other shops and they gave me quotes starting around $2500.00 to put the vehicle in time. I was told by a mechanic that they would have to remove the ac to fix the timing and that they would have to recharge the system, which would raise the cost to repair the vehicle, which I knew was a lie since I worked on the vehicle.
After speaking with Danny, I was informed that I may not need any new parts nor would they have to remove the ac to fix the vehicle. Danny gave the first quote at around $1300.00 to fix the Expedition with out the purchase of any new parts. Danny did explain to me that with the timing being out on the ford motor the valves could be bent and that the head would have to be removed and sent to a machine shop. After Danny had my vehicle and was able to run a few test on the engine with out tearing it down, he informed me the engine had compression and the valves were not bent. He again informed me that the price was still around $1300.00 (with tax) and wanted to know if I wanted to proceed with the repair.
The next day Danny called me and told me that the timing chain guides and tensioner were going bad and that they should be replaced. Danny also stated that I could use the parts and get another 30k miles out of the engine, but if I planed on keeping the vehicle beyond that it was recommended that I change the parts. Danny also recommended that I have the front seal changed since the engine was broken down. I told him that I would like the new parts installed in the vehicle and asked how much would the cost be. Danny stated the total cost to repair the vehicle would be around $1950.00.
Now since I worked on the vehicle before I brought it to Danny, I knew the timing chain guides and tensioner were worn. As for the tension-er not functioning properly, I had observed the seal on the back side of the tensioner was broken. With the seal broken I knew that it was a matter of time before it would not function properly.
The bottom line is that I knew that Danny was not trying to get over on me. I would have to say that I was very pleased with the service and communication that Danny's automotive provided. The turn around on the Expedition was very fast and the final price was below what was quoted by Danny. I was so pleased that I am ready to schedule my Acura for its regularly scheduled maintenance. I have also recommended Danny's to my family and friends. Thanks for a pleasant and no hassle experience!
