Big Branch tried to repair the existing faucets as that was a less expensive fix. However, their age and condition required replacement. A straight forward, simple explanation was given, the necessary parts obtained, and the replacement performed quickly and neatly. All of this was done in one visit. Give 'em a call if you need some plumbing work!

Because of the on and off rain, my problem went unnoticed and water was leaking for weeks.  I called the utility company  and in my haste to stop the leak I said yes to cut my water off.   I then checked Angie?s List and saw good reviews on Big Branch Plumbing and decided to give them a try.  Right off the bat, the owner, Mr. Ted Percle, was so very nice, and professional when I called.  It was 5/27/2015 and he said he would be out in a couple of hours.   The weather got very nasty but still he came and assessed the situation and put the water back on for me on low pressure.   Mr. Ted said he would have someone out first thing in the morning.  Sure enough, next morning, a very nice man, Shawn, was already digging and dug for the next two hours and repaired the line.  It was hard work, very hot, but he went to it like a trooper.  The pine tree root he cut away was almost, if not, 6 inches in diameter.

I am super please with the empathy for my dilemma, the professionalism, the punctuality and of course the work itself.  I would not hesitate to tell anyone to give them a try.

We're very pleased. We've used them several times. He told us how to treat it so it wouldn't happen again. They were very good and very responsive. They're reasonable and reasonably-priced. They're prompt and they seemed to know what they were doing.

Can't say enough good things about Ted. Told me what it would cost (replace garbage disposal) when I called, he came in prepared and went right to work! Cleaned the work area as he went and left the work area spotless.

They came out within 20 minutes of me calling and installed a new water heater.

First review was written soon after service and I should update on what occurred later: The connection to a radiant heating system connected to this water heater was leaking into the pan under the unit . This is in an attic and out of sight, so it was some time before I discovered this. Once again, the plumber came soon after my call and corrected the problem, but it was disturbing because that was the connection that prompted me to call the plumber in the first place.

I believe that when a hot water heater is drained, the client should be asked before releasing 50 gallons of hot water onto the property, because it may need to be redirected to another location that will cause no problem.

They were to return to repair a faucet, but were never heard from again

Leak was discovered on Thursday evening with soggy ground around the main water supply into the house. Researched on Angie's List and called Ted at Big Branch Plumbing on Friday morning. Ted was in the middle of a previous emergency and said he couldn't get to it on Friday. He recommended a competitor that he would trust to the work. I called the competitor, but he never returned my call. Called Ted back and he said he could be out first thing Saturday. Came out and did the work and didn't charge me extra for the Saturday work. Great service.

Their price is very reasonable and they charge a flat hourly rate of $90. It's a local company and the owner is pretty much involved. They did all the work and made a number of different adjustments all in one trip.

We had a tankless, electric hot water heater that failed. We contacted Big Branch for help with replacing it. Todd and his Boss Ted Percle were outstanding all the way. They chose a high quality replacement unit (it was a Steibel Eltron, which is an A+ unit, check the reviews yourselves) from the start. They handled all aspects of the installation including calling their trusted electrician to complete the wiring needed to replace the old unit (the old unit was too small for our house and thus the newer unit needed a better electrical service fed to it). The electrician did a great job as well.
The little things were done well, they professionally mounted the new unit building a sturdy new structure in the attic to attach it to.They added the proper clean out valves at the input and output of the heater needed for maintenance. The piping to the unit had to be upgraded to code (the previous installation was pretty shoddy) and they did that very well.
Todd took all the time in the world to show us how to operate the new heater and answered all our questions. They CLEANED UP THEIR MESS when they left and went to efforts to not make much of one in the first place putting down mats etc to minimize it.
I was also impressed that the electrician was lined up arriving when the installation was finished, all was completed at once.
I was happy with the price, they were here for several hours and they earned every bit of their charge.(The Stiebel unit was a bit more than you could get at the big-box store, but well worth every penny.)
I would definitely recommend Big Branch to anyone, they install quality equipment and are very good at what they do.

Had an electric water heater die on a Friday afternoon - tried multiple plumbing companies found on this site; unfortunately, four of them never returned message I left and others did not travel to my area. Found this company through a friend's referral. Discussed with owner, Ted Percle, my issue of having six people in the house (3 of which are girls with long hair) and lack of hot water for multiple baths. I found him to be personable, hands-on and most of all, a good listener. He looked over our current set up, listened to our issues and then made his recommendations. I appreciated this over just making his recommendation up front so he could move on to the next job. After he reviewed all the options with me including pros/cons, we settled on a tankless heater.
His crew spent about 6 hours to: remove the old heater from the attic, tap into the existing gas supply, installed roof venting, installed the tankless heater and by-pass kit for cleaning. They then walked me through all the upkeep items.Ted and his crew are respectful and courteous; they cleaned up behind themselves and had a great attitude. Can’t say enough good things about their customer service. I will use them again without hesitation.
