Steve was awesome! I closed on the house that morning, and by lunchtime, he was at the house changing the locks. He is very professional and courteous, and also offered recommendations on other items in the house that I needed assistance with. I HIGHLY recommend him, and would definitely use his services again! Prompt, professional and courteous! Steve arrived when he said he would and he was extremely knowledgeable. He removed a lock that was incredibly hard to remove and put the new one in and his price was very reasonable. I will call him again if I am ever in need of a locksmith!

Called A to Z, explained what was going on and told Steve did not know if it could be repaired or had to be replaced. He told me he would be by late in the afternoon and would call before he arrived, which he did. He was able to repair front lock, it did not have to be replaced and repaired a lock on the back door that my husband and son had installed and we could never get it keyed to match other locks. From now on, we will leave locks to the professionals and stick to what we do best! He was in and out in no time and well worth the cost which was very reasonable for the convenience he gave back to us! This is a dying art/trade--we need to use local craftsmen to repair rather than just dispose of what does not work. These locks were very expensive on the front end and came with a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, they are no longer made--so, its nice to have them repaired and keep for another 20 years.

A to Z locksmith was great.  He is very professional, knows his stuff, and gave us a good price.  We would definitely use him again and highly recommend him in the future.  He has been in the area for decades and is a wealth of knowledge on who to go to for other services as well.

I called to request a quote. Not only was he able to provide an accurate and competitive quote, but he was able to come out within a couple of hours to complete the job. The service was prompt and completed efficiently and the end result was impeccable. Can't say enough about how good the experience was and will definitely use him in the future.

I called Steve to rekey my front door.  I just had a new lock installed and they key that came with the new lock would not open the lock from the outside.  So I thought for sure I had lost the key for the "outside".  Steve showed up and saw the key sitting in the lock on the inside of the door.  It was then I told him it was a new lock and I thought I had lost the key for the outside.  It didn't take long for him to realize what was going on.  The lock was new and it's sometimes hard to fit a new key in a new lock.  Two taps with a hammer and a little WD-40 later, voila!  The key actually worked the inside and outside.  I offered to pay him a service call, he declined.  I offered to pay his gas, he declined.  This was one of the nicest things anyone has done for me.  I'm sure most everyone else would have charged me at least for a service call.  Steve was so kind, the least I could do is post a rave review on Angie's list.  Probably would have done that anyway since he was prompt, quick and professional (even before I realized how dumb I was). 

I highly recommend A to Z Lock.  I debated about posting this because I didn't want people to expect not to be charged but his kindness and professionalism deserves to be recognized.  I will definitely use Steve again and recommend him.

Had locks changed after moving into a new home. He was professional, prompt, courteous and reasonably priced. Strongly recommend.

Steven was very responsive and met us at the spur of the moments, re-keyed 5 locks and changed out 2 dead bolts and was very helpful with other referals

My daughter was staying with me, went outside to her car. Top deadbolt was open. The lower door handle somehow went into a locked position. Of course it was a different key than the top deadbolt. We never lock the bottom handle, just the upper deadbolt.
I was out of town, called A to Z lock and key. The gentleman said that he could be right there to help my daughter. He arrived within a few minutes of me calling, unlocked the door and was very nice according to my daughter.

I called after looking up on Angie's List. It is Labor Day so I was not sure he would be available. He answered; we discussed problem and he said he would be there in the afternoon. He would call me first. He called mid afternoon, arrived 15 minutes later. The internals were wearing out so he repaired them and explained what was going on the whole time. It took less than 30 minutes. Very considerate and professional. Remember it was Labor Day and he was working.

Work was done very professionally, would use A to Z Safe and Lock again. I felt very secure with the process and comfortable with their expertise.

They came out the same day, it was same day service. It didn't take long at all to fix the issue. The price was reasonable and he was professional.

Overall the whole experience went smoothly. He opened our door and gave us good advice to prevent future lockouts. I was very pleasantly surprised and would definitely recomment them in the future and use them again.
