Country Acres Apartments

Description of Work: We lived there for 3 years. One apt we lived in had water in the light fixtures downstairs, they took it lightly. We moved to another apt in same complex- sinks stopped up on Easter, had to wait because it was a holiday. Last July the air conditioning broke- we had to wait 4 days because it was a holiday. This year the air broke 3 times in 4 weeks- always on weekend and we had to wait for Monday each time. The upstairs toilet would not flush if you used it more than 3 times in a day. The stove worked only how it wanted to- never fixed. Kitchen sink leaked and we had to keep a bucket under the sink always. Water was always brown and disgusting, they never took steps to correct issue. Water went out for 3 days this winter and they never contacted anyone in complex to update us on status. So many issues they failed to correct. Now that we have moved they are charging us an additional $700 to paint the walls. We lived there 2 years, I steam cleaned the carpets 2 times per month, mopped daily, and cleaned again when we moved. They do not return anyone's deposit no matter what. I would NOT recommend this propert to anyone looking for housing. We could have lived in a less desirable neighborhood and gotten taken care of much better than this place. They even stated they do not want anyone under an E5 living there- they wanted all lower ranking people out. And they were working on getting everyone that is not Caucasion out of the complex. There is no room for raciasm in our world! Especially in property management.
