We did all of our homework , so I thought, and within the first months, the contractor had lied to my husband and to myself about conversations that he said he had had.  We never received any of the discounts that we were promised from any of his suppliers, so we found cheaper prices for things on our own.   We paid off the shelve price for everything instead of his contractors price.  We had a lot of trouble communicating to his subs and he was rarely on the job site.
None of our walls are square to the point we are having to custom make shower doors because the opening is larger at the bottom then the top.   Our shower was suppose to be a 5x6 walk-in shower and it is a 4x5 shower with a door.   We didn't want crown molding around the ceiling, but the uneven &  unleveled walls makes this mandatory.  We had rafters that weren't nailed to the outside walls.  We were suppose to have a solider course of brick that wrapped our front porch, but the brick ledge didn't get poured.  Our master bath plumbing was incorrect, so that had to be redone.
Our slab was suppose to be finished well enough to be able to paint the concrete  and the finish on it was so bad that we couldn't paint it.  We have had to put a floating floor in.  We have hollow spots in our carport that hold water, so it never drains because they didn't slant the carport correctly.
We did give him a chance to finish a "punch list" before we parted and the first thing he tried to fix we had to take out and pay someone else to redo correctly.

I have an extremely long list of complaints, too numerous to put here.  We would not recommend any of his homes, ever...The cosmetic stuff looks good, but you don't realize how badly the home is built until your already in it.  We were luck that we were on the job site daily and saw the poor construction before it was covered up.

Great builders but their agent is not that good. They never had the paper when  we needed to close on the house. We did closed one month after the actual closing date due to paper never turn in on time to the bank ot the realtor. We moved in and we are really happy with the house. We did had some little issue (fan, light bulb, A/C) but everything was taking care in a very short time. They really care about their customer and have the best after sale service.
