Mr. Rider arrived promptly and gave a fair written estimate. When I called to request that he perform the work, he responded promptly and began working shortly thereafter. He was courteous and direct. He cleaned up the work area each day and removed his tools and materials. The work was excellent and completed in a timely fashion.

Mr Rider warned us about the mess, but he cleaned up after himself, there was no mess at all for me to clean up. His quote included any extra work that he might have to do to the ceiling. He used scafolding to reach the high ceiling and completed the job quickly and the finished product was excellent. I really appreciated the fact that he decided to varnish the beams as well on his own initiative.

I had ceiling water damage in one bedroom, hallway, and living room, from a leaking air conditioner unit located in the attic. I had Mr. Rider come and give me an estimate for repair of the damaged areas. He quoted me $375.00. I agreed and he started at 8am the next day. My ceiling is drywall thru out the whole home with a popcorn texture. To paint the living room, he would also have to do the kitchen and the entrance hallway to match the paint. As he attempted to paint with a roller, the new paint would not adhere to the surface, therefore he decided to spray. He mask and put plastic sheeting over everything. After he completed painting it looked great except 3 areas that I attempted to fix with cans of the popcorn texture. I ask him if he would repair those areas. He cleaned up those areas, rented a special machine to do a professional spray, retaped, and repainted everything to match. Everything turned out excellent. I agreed to an additonal $75 to cover the machine rental and additional supplies. It was well worth it. He worked by himself for 2 1/2 days. Very prompt each day, he was all work while here no lottering or wasting time. Mr. Rider has been a painter for over 30 years and works without a crew. If I have any other painting issues, I will call him.
