They advertised custom tiling. They laid all tile. Incorrectly. My husband and i had to pull up thier tile work in kitchen 3 times. The living room was all laid unlevel throughout. Hallway had wrong pattern. We ended up finishing tile ourselves. House has to be pulled up and redone. All our tile we bought was wasted. Would not refund our money. Couldnt trust them to finish job had to fire but had 17k of our money with only about 8k worth of work done plus now will cost us 10k for new flooring and labor. They were going to make cabinets out of mdf and seal tile floors with mop and glow. Mike St. Ditzier refused to make it right. Will be taking legal action. We have photos of all before and after and all redos. Pics show just some of wasted tile. Has taken 3 weeks to lay this tile. Wall demoed nicely and beam done right. But contractor unresponsive, avoids calls, and wont take responsibily. We the customers were blamed because we are "diy customers" who were trying to run the job however it took multiple requests for his 1 worker to get supplies we had to create a punch list because contractor was never onsite overseeing work. Contractor also blamed crooked walls, uneven slab an bad tile purchsed from lowes. We had no problem laying the kitchen leven. As a professional getting paid 35k you adapt to uneven slabs and wall inconsistencies, this is why you are the contractor. Still will not admit this is poor quality. Also tried to convince us to let him use cabinets that are on the shelf at lowes and home depot. Not what we paid 35k for. BEWARE. We were told. By employees and subcontractor we were the 3rd job this has happened to.
