Very short version: I'd use WadeCo again. Newly completed work appears to have been done well, professionally and competently. Of course, the real test is how the roof will stand up in future years, and from the work done I do not expect any issues - in any case, I have confidence that if issues come up, they will be resolved. Replacing a roof (1) costs a lot of money (2) can be a surprising upheaval given the potential for mess, nails and noise, and - most important - (3) can be an expensive disaster for your house if not done right, so it is worth doing a little homework. I started by asking for recommendations from friends, as well as looking here on Angie’s List. I obtained several bids, seeking the best value not necessarily the lowest price, and checked references. Using a local company was important to me as it keeps money in our community and you know where to find the local business if there’s a problem. Pricing was agreed, tile grade & color chosen, insurance papers provided, and a schedule set. The crew arrived on time, with all needed supplies, everything checked out by the supervisor. The old roofing tiles etc were removed, the new installed, with no surprises, no damage, no drama, at a reasonable pace – pleased that no-one was rushing MY job to get a the next one. Some errors in the previous roof installation were pointed out, and the problems rectified. Clean up was excellent, the work site left very tidy, no trash, nothing left behind. The payment process was made easy. Throughout the process, the site supervisor kept me informed which I appreciated. Tip: no matter how carefully the crew cleans, there will be some nails left behind. Borrow, or buy a cheap, magnetic sweep, especially if you have kids or pets.

It went great, very professional, excellent work, cleaned up like they were never here. Would recommend to anyone to use. Hal even worked with the insurance company which helped out.

The men arrived on the date they said they would. The work was to take two days. Since it rained so much, they finished up on the third day. This was a very labor intensive job. Each tile had to be removed individually and stacked on a trailer to be legally disposed of. Very little debris was left in the yard. I love the look of the new roof. I only wish I had knew the roof need to be replaced when I purchased this home, I would have done it sooner. I also have to say every time I contacted the company, I received a very quick response.

Due to unusually bad storms our work couldn't begin for 6 weeks, I had a leak around the chimney, Wade Co came out and sealed around he chimney to prevent any damage until they could get here, there was no additional charge for this and we had no more leak issues. Work took 7 days, started promptly every day at 7:30 and worked until around 6:00. Guys cleaned up continually during the day and completely each night. Workers were very respectful to my property and family. Crew foreman (Mike) was here the entire time and thoroughly answered any questions I had during the job plus immediately informed me of issues they found. Their Field Supv also came by every day to check on things. They found one of our vent pipes broken in the attic (not done by Wade Co), which required a Plummer to repair, Wade Co did not charge me for this. They found that in their quote they had forgotten to include the cost of 2 turbine vents, while I told them I had no problem with them adding this cost they were insistent that they would stick to their quote and replaced the vents at no additional cost. I am extremely happy with the work and experience I had with Wade Co. The roof is beautiful and I have full confidence that if I have any issues with the roof they will respond promptly and to my satisfaction.

Hal was a pleasure to deal with, from start to finish. I wish everyone did business the way he does. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing any kind of roof work done. I just wish they did more than just roofing work, because I'd use this company for everything!
