Before purchasing our home which has a pier and beam foundation, we had National Foundation come out and do an inspection. The kitchen area and part of the hallway and master bedroom had a noticeable dip in the wooden floor but we loved the home and location, so we called the experts at National Foundation during our inspection process to assess the problem and let us know how much of an issue it is and what the approximate cost would be before we decided to go through with the sale.
Robert, the estimator, came out the very next day and gave the house a very thorough inspection. The sellers had previously had another foundation company come out and provide an estimate of $3800, which was written very vaguely on what needed to be done and left open-ended, with the fine print stating that it could be more once the crew gets there and starts working. Robert took his time and explained exactly what needed to be done. I was not only happy to hear that the problem wasn't serious and very fixable, but National was also going to charge less than half of the previous estimate to fix it, along with a few other problems that they've found that wasn't mentioned by the other foundation company.
I've talked to many people, including a very good friend who is a local geologist, and everyone told me the same thing - if you need foundation repair work - call National Foundation. And they were right. Everyone I dealt with were very honest, friendly and helpful. Steve and his assistant showed up this morning promptly as scheduled and immediately went to work repairing the problems. Along the way, he told me what was happening and what they were doing to correct each problem and what to watch out for in the future. Even though the job required more piers than what was originally estimated and described on the contract, I was still charged the quoted price.
If you need any type of foundation repair, whether it's concrete slab or pier and beam, go with National Foundation. Don't even bother wasting time talking to anyone else. Just keep in mind that they are extremely busy and it may take a little while for them to schedule you in, but they are well worth the wait. I'm extremely pleased with their work.

Very professional, knowledgeable, nice and patient. As it turned out, I have house issues that are not foundation-related, but the rep was courteous enough to talk with me about them anyway and made helpful suggestions.

Our real estate agent recommended National Foundation come out and inspect our prospective home. Our house is on piers, and National Foundation is really the only game in town for those types of foundation. Robert came out and was excruciatingly thorough, explaining everything his findings to us in great detail. He crawled under the house, for about an hour. He found three relatively minor problems with the foundation and gave us an estimate for fixing them on the spot ($1000 for all three issues, which seemed reasonable). He was very courteous and professional and I would totally recommend him to anyone. We plan to call him back fore repairs, soon!

The service man was very neat and professional. He inspected the foundation and educated me what the signs of foundation failure looked like.

I have cracks in my brick veneer, ceramic tile popping up inside the house, and a few other things I was concerned about. Kevin explained what was causing each problem. Rather than rush into giving me an estimate, he showed me signs of what to watch for, and gave me suggestions on how to keep my slab from moving further. It was a good experience over all, and I would definitely recommend him/this company for any foundation issues. You will get an honest answer to your questions.

It was a positive experience. The guys were professional, they were on time. We had an appointment, they kept the time and date, I like that. They showed up your insurance and they had a survey because they wanted to know how their work was done. I liked that about them.

Fine. We had floors in the living room and one bedroom that were very bouncy and soft. Our house is on piers, but it is very low to the ground and almost entirely bricked in. Robert from National Foundation Repair crawled under every inch of the house and gave a complete estimate of what needed to be done. It turned out there was a lot of rot. He was not the low bidder, but he did look at the entire house. Others just took measurements inside and took a quick peek underneath. Their quote was not much higher than the lowest bidder, and I felt confident that there would be no surprises. They did a fine job and the floors are more firm, and I hope will last for another 50 years.
