the contractor was away hunting duing much of the work and must of the workers had little English so communication was problematic  when the slab pour was formed up and the existing slab was drilled for connecting rods he did not want to fill them with bonding cement-we had to insist over his arguments.  the roof framing was out of square and we had to argue to get that fixed.  the valley where old and new roof met was not straight and while he improved it, it is still not straight.  the problem seemed to be that he did not want to call back the subcontractors to fix there work.
