TRES-BON CARPET & UPHOLSTERY

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! I have used this company in the past but the last time, 3 days ago, was a VERY TERRIBLE experience. The employee they have now tripped 3 breakers AND DID NOT TELL US, His machine started smoking and leaked water all over my floor so I gave him a towel which he left on the floor saturated with water. I gave them my $900.00 rug to be cleaned at their shop. When he returned the rug it was stained and ripped . The owner was totally defensive when I called to report the experience and made no effort to make it right. All I received were excuses; no accountability anywhere. The man was constantly on his phone with his wife making more excuses to me about his shotty work. I tested the carpet and the dirt I found was awful terrible. My husband and I are the only residents in a 4000 square foot home and we have no pets. I will post pictures here if I can, if not I will find somewhere to post.

I have used them twice in the last 2 weeks.  The first time, they cleaned 4 rooms, stairs and a hallway, with deodorizer, for about $160.  We did not believe the quote because they came recommended by a friend and the price was so low.  They did a GREAT job.  Today they cleaned 3 rooms.  They do excellent work for an amazing price.  I am going to schedule an appointment for them to pick up our oriental rugs for cleaning and will offer another review then.  My recommendation - get the deodorizer.  The entire house will smell fresh!

I've used them before & tried them again. The wall-to-wall carpets were ok. However, their workers were rude & unkept. Their work is really not good at all. They just dropped my oriental rugs on my front porch when they brought them back from cleaning! I had to basically beg them to come back & bring the rugs inside for me because I couldn't lift them. I had to ship them out to New Orleans to have the rugs all redone. I was just very upset at how rude they were all around.

I like everything about them, their service are excellent, very efficient, good employees. No problem with scheduling, so easy.

They were very good, careful, and did an excellent job. 

When the rug came back, after the people left, I noticed that the fringe from one side had been pulled off and the rug was unraveling.  I called Tres-Bon and left a message but they did not return my call.  After about three calls with no response I had to take the rug to New Orleans to have it repaired.  It was two days before Thanksgiving and we were having a house full of people.  $122 and two trips to New Orleans later I had my rug back.  The man who repaired it said that it was cleaned with water which should never happen to antique wool rugs.  He said so much water was used that the fringe started to come off and when he pulled on the fringe it caused the rug to unravel.  Some of the rug had to be cut off and resurged. 

The day after Thanksgiving, I called again and finally talked to the owner.  At first he pretended he had no clue who I was and then when I explained the problem all he could say was that it was my fault because of the way I rolled the rug.  He was very arrogant and rude.  When I mentioned the water on the rug he said I was crazy and all people use rug.  He yelled at me for about ten minutes and finally I just hung up. I will NEVER use that company again!!!   I was telling my neighbor about my experience and she said she had just about the same experience.  I have never dealt with such a rude person before.

They did an OK job. There were some spots (red wine) that did not come out. We chose this company because they supposedly used fragrance free cleaners. The man who did the cleaning reeked of cigarette smoke when he came in the house, and we had to open up our windows after he was done (in the 90+F heat!) because the kids and I were getting headaches from the odor.
