The main power line to my house became loose from it's main supports after a storm and was lying across my neighbor's roof. I tried to get Entergy to intervene for safety's sake but got no help form them at all. Trinity came out the same day I called and sorted the problem out with a solid an permanent repair of the mounting bracket and connection. The connection is some 12 feet skyward and this was a job that had to be done right. I'm glad to say that everything is still in great shape even after several more thunderstorms. I also worked with Trinity Electric for several years in my capacity as a property manager on no less than 20 (maybe more) jobs that I can recollect both big and small. They were always on time, on budget and the work was done right every time. He became my preferred electrician and still is.
Going into this I had a bad feeling that this was going to be a very expensive repair. I think this is a situation where a dishonest person could have exploited it and proposed unnecessary fixes. Instead he told me that he had isolated the issue to a problem with the voltage level coming in from the electric company. He left precise notes for Entergy and gave me some advice on how to deal with them successfully. He even told me that there was a claim process whereby Entergy might reimburse me for my expenses that this issue has caused me.
When Entergy came out I gave them his notes and thankfully they followed them. Ciro at Trinity had correctly diagnosed the problem because when Entergy made their repairs everything was working right.
"I am glad we were able to solve this ongoing electrical problem for you and we appreciate your business. Trinity"
"We apologize for your spouse's unpleasant experience with our company. It appears there may have been a misunderstanding about what Trinity Electric is able to offer you. Trinity Electric only handles the installation and connections (such as transfer switches) of such devices. Thus we do not service, diagnose, or repair the mechanical components of stand-by/back-up generators. If the future, if you allow our company to provide you with quality service and your trouble stems from the mechanical components of the device in question, we will gladly refer you to a service provider that may be able to make the necessary repairs for you or we will suggest that you contact the manufacturer of that device for a list of approved service providers skilled in mechanical repair."
