Tobar Painting

The signed contract was for $10,000. Paid $6,000 deposit. Once work started, as per his request and the receipt he texted me, I paid him $4337 for paint. He stopped working and started asking for more of the balance to be paid. I told him I wanted the paint I paid for delivered to my house, then I would discuss a payment plan. He kept asking for more money, did no more work, and then quit responding. I have a transcript of our texting during the project as well as copies of checks and receipts.

Quickly came for estimate, provided quote, and took deposit payment. Then lied about his son being in hospital (sent pictures time stamped from May). Quit responding to messages and only answered when I called from different numbers. Promised a refund then blocked my number. Proceed with caution, seems to be running a scam.

Very bad service. Took the money never showed up.

Tobars painting is the best company, I recommend them and their workers are very responsible and professional. Tobars painting painted my entire house from the outside and left it super pretty and quality, I recommend you hire them.

Did most of the work, Some with flaws, some unfinished promised to complete, took payment and blocked our phone number. Promised to come back 6 weeks ago. Have not heard back. Started with total price of $1000 ended at $14500

Great!!! They came when they said they would, protected my furniture and floors from paint and stain spatters, left the job site very clean, and finished the job on time (actually earlier than promised). Their work is very high-quality and the results are beautiful. Do not hesitate to hire Luis because he is younger than many other contractors; he knows what he’s doing and we are already making a list of other work we want him to do in our house.

It went very well, Luis and his crew went above and beyond what they were hired to do. I would highly recommend this company for your painting needs.

If you're looking for a professional and reliable painting company, look no more. Tobar Painting did an excellent job on my house. I would rehire in a heart beat. They showed up and stared work immediately. On most days they brought their lunch so they didn't have to leave but worked straight through the day. I can recommend them highly and without reservation. They are good people.

Luis and his team were wonderful. They were professional, friendly, and I felt like the pricing was extremely fair for the quality of the work that was done. My husband and I originally hired them to paint our interior trim- and they did such a great job that we had them come back to paint our kitchen cabinets. Luis and his team did an excellent job painting the exterior of our home. They paid attention to detail, was very pleasant to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the work. Louis was very responsive. His team did a great job of working within our budget. They were able to start right away with no down time. We even added on the Sheetrock work at the end and they were able to start right away. I would recommend to anyone who asks

TOBAR painting exceeded my expectations. They were very detail oriented. We had a lot of rain in the area which kept them from starting on the exterior painting, they were in constant communication until they were able to start and finish in one day. I would highly recommend.

Overall my home looks beautiful!! Even changed my paint color due to Luis recommendation and I couldn’t be happier. He was willing to work with my budget and schedule. I would have rated 5 stars however, some of the taping near my slate stairs was not covered and did get paint on them. Other than that I would recommend 100%
