Rooter Man

Service person arrived very quickly in same day I called in problem. This was an extremely busy time, as there were frozen and busted lines all over town due to the extremely cold weather. He immediately went to work, repaired the pipe, found no other issues, and he reinsulated the pipe. He also replaced a broken turn nozzle on faucet higher up on pipe (he didn’t have to do that). He was friendly, yet professional. Price was very reasonable.

It went well.

They were fantastic. They are A's across the board. He called me when he was in the neighborhood and I went outside to wait and he pulled up. When the guy came in. you could tell he had experience. It was perfect. He was able to do everything from inside. He brought in heavier equipment.  

They are specialists and I will call them if I need them but I will call Earl's first. 

They came in and it cost me under $100. It could have cost me over $400 if they have had to replace something but they said, "We think that we can fix it and we are going to try and fix it. We will see if it holds but if it does not..." But they went to the lower cost thing first which I really appreciated and it turned out to work.

I will never use these people again.
I paid for a video I never received. He did unclog the initial clog, but another plumber had to come after him because the clog moved further down the drain, so it was not a finished job.
Could not understand the bull he gave me about how he billed. Paid him $498 and thought it was a rip-off.Thought he also wasted a lot of time. He was there a total of 2 hrs. The only thing he did was confirm I had a break under the house. But how would I know for sure, since I never received the video to watch and confirm the break.

The plumber was to come on Monday. They called and said Tuesday, then he came Tuesday at 4, made the leak worse which required the whole water system to the house shut down, and then said he did not know what time he could come back!

It is not easy to do the A-F letter ratings for this job, because we'd give technician R., the office/telephone staff, and the company as a whole all A's. Unfortunately, because of our experience with technician F., there are lower ratings.  We would use this company again, but we?d insist that F. not be sent to the job.
We called Rooter Man in the afternoon, and R. came out almost immediately.  He quoted us $238 for the job and said that he could start right way.  Normally this would be great, but because of other scheduling, we couldn?t do it.  R. said he would be back out at 8:00 a.m. the next morning.  At 8:00 a.m. the next morning, F. arrived.  A?s for Responsiveness and Punctuality.
When F. was done, he told my wife that the charge was $337, $99 more than the agreed price.  She called me and I got on the phone with F.  I said that we would pay the agreed $238 and that the office could call me if it wanted to discuss it any further.  He responded that he was increasing the bill because R. had to come help him with a part of the work.  I replied that we had agreed to pay $238 for the job as a whole, not on a per technician basis, and that he never discussed any additional charge with us.  He accepted that after some further argument.  Later I found this on the company website: ?You deserve to know the complete price before work begins-and
have the option to decline if that price is not within your budget.?
After he left, my wife told me that F. had told her that he did not even clean the entire sewer line!  (At least he was honest about this.)
We called the office, who was helpful, understanding, and appropriately apologetic.  They sent R. back out almost immediately, and he finished the work at no additional charge.  We appreciate that the company honored the statement from its website: ?You deserve full satisfaction with our products and services or we will redo the job for FREE.?  The office also told us that all charges should always be explained to, discussed with, and agreed by the customer, and they acknowledged that this clearly did not happen with F.  
We appreciate R.?s work and attitude and the prompt, polite response that we got from the office.  We would use Rooter Man again in the future, but would definitely insist that F. not be sent out.  The lower ratings are based on our experience with F.

The bath tub had been slow to drain and was now virtually stopped.  I called Rooter Man at 10:30, they had someone at my house within 20 minutes.  The drain was unclogged and he was gone within 20 more minutes. 

They came within a few hours. They managed to clear the pipe blockage to the street. They however did not help with any of the clean up. A contractor came in later doing other work on the house and was shocked to see the mess that was left behind.

They were fine. I don?t remember the price. So, I can?t comment on the same. I will use them again in the future.

The repairman arrived about an hour and a half after my initial call. The company called me when he was in route. He arrived, looked at the sink and how it was draining, went to his truck for tools and blew out the clog with a pneumatic device. I had taken all the items out from underneath the sink vanity and he offered to replace them for me. In all it took him about 20 minutes overall.
