J B Automotive Repair Service

Yesterday, I made a service appointment.  I brought the car in this morning.  The repair was completed 4 hours later.

Joe at JB Automotive is a very honest, straight-forward and accommodating car service repairman, on whom I rely for all of my family's car repairs. SML

The service was pretty bad. They gave a bill of $5000, but the problems weren't really fixed. They were kind of rest over, almost like fixed temporarily. The codes were just erased. I didn't go back to that automotive. The guy there said if I pay by cash instead of a check or money order, then he can reduce the price. I would recommend others to stay away from him. He was very manipulative and deceptive. Everything was fine with the truck, but he erased the codes on the truck. I didn't know about it because I didn't know much about the cars. He told he had a brand new engine in it and it wasn't a brand new engine in it. He was not honest about anything. I would like to tell others to have information about different dealers, so such kind of things could be avoided. The price could have been reasonable if everything was done as it was supposed to be done. After he got his money, I was supposed to see him the next day; but he told his co-workers to tell me that he had to leave out of town. He wasn't there and he didn't tell me about it. I didn't believe him.

I have used them for about 4 or 5 years. I have referred others to him and we have all been very satisfied with them. He has good prices and is a certified mechanic. He does very good work. He is very good at getting the work done quickly so you don't have to wait too long.
