Doctor Pipe

It was good and it was excellent.

Our condo has a "utility room" that is 10 feet above floor level, behind a small access door. I described this by phone to Mike, and he was familiar with similar units in the area. He gave a rough estimate then of $1450, which would be refined when one of his people physically inspected and took measurements. That person arrived on time, and confirmed that there was room to remove the old unit and install the slightly larger new unit. Brian and a partner returned early the next morning, exactly on time, and completed the replacement. Because it took less time than expected, they lowered the final charge to $1350. Not an easy job to remove an old short & wide unit via a ladder, and change over the hook ups in a tight space. Another reviewer said they posted a service request via the web form and got no follow up. I tried to use that and discovered that it didn't work, failing to invoke some third-party form handler service. These kind of foibles seem more common with small businesses who have someone create their minimal web site and then not maintain it. Just call them instead.

Awesome - Dr. Pipe has always given me good service at a fair price. They may not be the cheapest, but they are real pros. After Katrina I discovered I had a commercial sprinkler system in my ceiling. The contractor said it would take SIX WEEK to remove. I called Dr. Pipe, Steve came out and took one look and to the minute 30 minutes later it was done!!! Anything weird or really complicated is right up their alley. They are the only plumbers I really trust.

There's a gentleman who I specifically request for called Armond. He is very intelligent and you can tell by the look on his face that he's smart. He knows exactly what he's doing. He's able to problem solve rapidly. He's very reasonable in his prices. In opportunities where they could have overcharged me, they either did not or did it at no charge.

The service went very well. Two men came out and they did an excellent job. I will be using them from now on.

The toilet needed to be drained, unbolted from the floor, and object removed. Plumber Josh lied and said toilet was not flushing. The apartment complex, one of 1st Lake Properties, made me buy a new one. When called to file a complaint I was told that they would definitely call me back and they did not.

The tech arrived and easily found that when the disposal was installed, they forgot to remove the plug. It was just my wife there so the person charged her the entire 120 for a simple 5 min fix. Felt as though they took complete advantage. Will not be using again.

I like Doctor Pipe and will use them again in the future.

This was a very inconsistent leak. I had waited a week or so before calling Dr. Pipe because it didn't leak every time I showered and I wasn't sure what was happening. Josh had to cut a hole in the wall of the other room in order to access the plumbing and then with visual inspection and a video camera, he traced the leak to the waste and overflow, which he replaced. He double checked to make sure the shower didn't leak anymore before he left. He also fixed a wobbly toilet while he was waiting to see if there was any more shower leakage.
But the next day when I showered, the leak was back. Smaller puddle than previously, but it was still there. Josh came back the next day and replaced the tub faucet and stem gaskets for no charge. The leak hasn't reappeared.
I don't have any problem with his not finding all of the leaks the first time since as I said, the leak was very inconsistent. He was very friendly and explained things as he went along, and when he came the second time, he still had a hard time finding it because it was so small. But he did it and now I plan on having Dr. Pipe do some more major work on my bathroom very soon. Their prices seem fair and the work is excellent.

Overall excellent service. Were on site within an hour of a Sunday 9:30 AM call. Quickly diagnosed the problem, repaired it, and explained the source and how to prevent it from happening again. Extremely professional, quick, and articulate service man (Armand). Hard to think of any way a main house sewer connection block at 9 AM on Sunday could have gone any better.

I called Dr Pipe on a Saturday because of an emergency. I was hoping to get some one to show up within 24 to 36 hours. Was I surprised when they showed up in less than an hour.The problem was identified and repaired in a totally professional manner. I will call them again in the future. I recommend them to others.

I was impressed by their service because I was able to call on Sunday to schedule for Monday. When they found the problem to be worse than expected, they were kind enough to allow me to purchase the hot water heater elsewhere since I didn't have the money for one from them and rescheduled for the next day. Also, the repairman prioritized his time perfectly, he drained the old water heater while making the minor bathroom repairs. I was pleasantly surprised by the cost of replacement and repairs. They did an excellent job and I am thrilled to have them as my new plumber.
Plumbers that make repairs is/was hard to come by in our area, most only want to do new construction. And the two that I've used in the past that do repairs cost a fortune and I cannot get service after hours. It's wonderful that Doctor Pipe is in our area!

Unit 1: The toilet was moving around so I was not sure if the bolts were broken or just loose. The technician pulled the toilet, replaced the floor bolts and wax ring and then shimmed the toilet.
Unit 2: I had replaced the hot and cold stems but was unable to fix a slow leak with the hot side of the shower. The technician pulled the stems, replaces the o-rings and replaced the plastic inserts that the tenant had broken from turning the faucets too tight.
The work performed was done professionally and the technician took the time to explain to the tenant how to properly work the shower faucets without breaking them again. I was actually more impressed that when I first called Dr Pipe and explained the situation with my shower faucets, he suggested that I wait to schedule an appointment since in his experience, it could take sometime for the new o-rings to and quot;break-inand quot; and the leak would have possibly stopped. I appreciated the honesty but wanted to have it taken care of immediately which they did.

Doctor Pipe was prompt, and did the job quickly. The guys were friendly and explained the issue and what they were doing clearly. The only issue was they left a bit of a hole and a mess from excavating and since someone else fixes the broken up cement, it took a few weeks to completely finish the job

They arrived when they said they would, fixed the problem quickly and were very neat with their work. This is probably the fourth time I have used them, and I will definitely use them again!

Dr. Pipe is worth waiting for. They are by far the best plumbers in the area and have saved my neck more than once. Steve, the owner, is truly a master of the art of plumbing and all his workers are top notch, personable and easy to work with.

We have noticed the water pressure dropping in the kitchen and it has recently become very annoying. We called Monday, the plumber came out on Tuesday, quickly located and repaired the problem, and charged us a reasonable fee. We have used them several times and have ALWAYS been please with their customer service and quality of work.
